Yeah I had my fork seals changed on my 03 mean streak. The shop around here has no problem working on older metric bikes. I think because they are tried and true and easy to work on. Not sure, but I'm not ready to get rid of my meanie. Actually looking at a '16 Vaquero because I love the reliability.

Yes, the older bikes are easier to work on. Hey, that Mean Streak is a bad bike. Same here, this Vaquero has been good to me. I've made it my daily when it's not thunder storming. You can't go wrong with Kawasaki reliability. Thanks for watching!!

That's cool that they can get you in and out quick . Plus most shop will not touch a bike over 10 old . But then again Kawasaki not change that bike in what 15 years or more.
@TD2054 ай бұрын
You are exactly right. I went to several other Kawasaki dealers and they turned me around due to the year of the bike. And yes, nothing has really changed of the Vaquero model. Which is crazy. Thanks for watching Doyle!! 👍🏿

LOL!! I love that ending man!! 😂 And I don't blame you for taking it to the shop. I'll try some stuff, but I don't want to fool with any forks!

Good evening I had mine done twice but now I run a thicker fork oil than stock and it rides smoother over big bumps with out bottoming out

Thanks KW!! What fork oil you run? Might tell the shop to do the same for me. I'm all about smooth riding. I appreciate you watching!! 💪🏿

Dude, right in the feels. But seriously though, I was looking for a shop for mine. I've got an issue I'll cover on a future video. I'll keep that shop in mind, going to try Skinner's in Auburn first as it's a little closer than Birmingham for me.
