POW block, thunder cloud and mega mushroom from Wii were so fun cause it made the game more chaotic, I wish they added them back in 8 deluxe.

not the 64, that's for sure. and that's funny, 8dx is probably the most balanced item host of them all, but i feel the same 😅

Scooty is the same stats as teddy buggy but it has a smaller hitbox which is good for things like wall dodging reds. Which makes it strictly better and people have been figuring it out.

25:30 I still see plenty of love for Waluigi Pinball, but it definitely did fall off a bit as far as peoples Top 5s, 10s, even 15 or 20 best Mario Kart tracks in 8 Deluxe. That I can attribute to the fact we have so many S tier tracks amongst Waluigi Pinball the competition is fierce. Waluigi Stadium, Maple Treeway, N64, Wii & 3DS Rainbow Roads, Mute City, Big Blue, Yoshi's Island, Mount Wario, Squeaky Clean Sprint, Electrodrome, Mushroom Gorge, Ninja Hideaway, DK Mountain, SNES Bowser Castle 3: there's a lot of tracks now that can rival or surpass Waluigi Pinball at this point.

At 16:55 I had a similar thing happen to me but on rock rock mountain at the beginning of the shortcut. The worst part is I had another 9th place box in the second slot except it happens to be a blue shell when literally anything else would have helped a ton even a single shroom I could have exited the shortcut

It pretty common to see a variety of combos in rooms up to 15k VR, as people there can be very good, yet all of yhem aren't trying very hard to get higher, and just have some fun. Past 15k, you see a lot more teddy buggies, still with character variations. Your Mount Wario room above 20k, with one 98k player, is an odd one. Like you, I would have expected 11 yoshi teddies in

the way I see Waluigi pinball is they did good remaking it, I feel like the track itself was a cooler concept for me back then, tho. I still thought it was awesome in 7, but in 8 Dx I never really wanna race it and am only happy by the time the race started. Not that I dislike what they did w/it for 8 Dx, there's just simply better options imo
