Little tip for ya troy, when you're bagging, go get the coins immediately. ive noticed you kinda just drive by them a good chunk of the time, and itll make the bagging more effective.

Shrooming to dodge the Blue on DKS would have worked. You don't necessarily dodge blue shells by shrooming out of the explosions like you do in Wii (I don't even think shrooming takes you out of the explosion to begin with). Instead shrooming at the right time gives you invincibility against Blue Shells. You can literally dodge a blue shell while shrooming into a wall if you really want to.

6:55 to get to the top route, you need to glide down to the sand geysers and do a trick on them for the game to give you upwards momentum

About hitting top route on Bone Dry: Trick off the glider ramp, don't hold a drift. Have more coins. It shouldn't be too tricky.

Have you considered practicing bagging strats? I watch a lot of Shortcat and he always mentions how it's important to master both bagging and running and know when to use which. It looks like you like to focus on running, which can sometimes cause you to get caught in the middle of the pack -- or "lost in the vortex" as you and NMeade like to say. Bagging won't solve all your problems, but it may make your experience a little less frustrating and more fun, especially on tracks like cheese land and yoshi circuit.

17:10 You're doing the air hops wrong on the halfpipes. You want to hold the direction of the halfpipe, then when you go off of it, press ZR or R when your tires start to flip sideways. The tricking and having to go wide for the turn is caused by you hopping before you go off the halfpipe

Hey here’s a small tip you can dodge blue shell while in a glider or cannon or ground all you u do is need a mushroom wait for when the blue shel shows the back it looks blue mushroom and you will dodge it

You should play a mod where it’s the flame runner, max speed, minimum acceleration, minimum off-road,minimum mini boost and max everything else so that going off road or crashing can ruin your entire game and will make it more unpredictable

36:00 you are way to stuck on this. Good players intentionally lose many races to lower VR, Just to get a win streak against bad players. It happens a lot, more then you'd think.

The better players generally have higher vr since they play more. Besides, what other metric do you want me to use, the game only supplies 1 number + name and flag for each racer lol

You're right, I'm just salty because I only have 14000 vr, but I guess using lounge mmr would be a closer determinate of skill level. Also, people who get in rooms with more than 6 players with 99999 vr are usually the victims of VR grinders who use many separate games and accounts to play against themselves in worldwides and eventually get max vr for doing literally nothing.
