It's really nostalgic seeing IW, and it's so crazy to watch gameplays of it going way farther than what I could ever imagine being possible as a kid As for Doto, he doesn't explore what the game has to offer mechanics wise and gets destroyed for it, which is so funny to watch as someone who also never really learned how to play it properly But still, it is understandable how frustrating can it be to see someone failing at doing something you already know it's not that hard, I even get disturbed watching him get stuck at some part of a game that I've played, but that's what makes the experience, I guess lol I look foward to watch more of your content, it is straight to the point and concrete, love that!

I have never felt so inspired by an Infinite World video before... Truth be told, I get where DotoDoya is coming from; I didn't know performing Combo Cancels was that simple until IW whipped me into shape. Now because I can do these too, every single Budokai game is like a walk in the park for me.
@lanntheclever4822 жыл бұрын
You played brilliant! The fight itself isn't really hard, especially after you've already fought the previous opponents. Dotodoya is great at FZ but he's still a beginner in the Z3 type games.
@Dr._Doppietta2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I can see why, FZ is *very* different from old Budokai games. No wonder he's struggling so much.
@lanntheclever4822 жыл бұрын
@@Dr._Doppietta And easier, in my opinion. Cancelling is much easier in iw than in z3, and the special moves can be launched at almost any time, w/o cancelling and completing the previous combo. I think it's a matter of what game you come across first. He might've played FZ before that. I played z3 and iw in their prime and when I picked up FZ I sucked big time. I still do, tbh, haha.
@Marco_mm2 жыл бұрын
@@lanntheclever482 I think being eaiser to do stuff is actually what's throwing doto off. He's used to study frame data, what combos into what, hitstun, blockstun and shit like that because of his fighting game player mindset, so in a game where you can cancel pretty much everything and super anytime you want, it really throws you off. You can even see Doto only ever used supers to finish a combo, never as a part of the combo, because what his mind keeps telling him is "combo into super for maximum damage and for saving ki"
@Dr._Doppietta2 жыл бұрын
Your message is far from true. Many strings can't be canceled, to play a character properly I go into Practice Mode first, study all of his strings and frame data and then I try to do combo. I feel like DotoDoya never even bothered to train first, so ofc his gameplay lacks a lot.
@wksers_serks2 жыл бұрын
I remember learning canceling in infinite world literally by paying attention to one of the bosses. I'm not sure which one but what comes first to my mind was Majin Vegeta. I just went to training mode or whatever it was called and tried to figure out how and what I can cancel of from all of Goku's kit. Be it a super cancel or atk cancel, you name it. And then when I went back to Majin Vegeta to apply this newfound power I learned....I had the most fun cuz for once I felt like I've became an equal to the A.I. xD Good memories, and thank you Dr. Doppietta for bringing back some nice memories of childhood ❤

In Dotodoya’s defense the series he’s been doing on Infinite World has been more for laughs than anything. He purposefully went into the game blind without knowing much about the mechanics because it’s funny to see him struggle and learn as he progresses through the story. He’s actually very skilled when it comes to most other fighting games, especially Dragon Ball Fighterz but like I said this series was meant to be funny more than serious. Fat Buu is akso a horribly underrated character and one of the last ones to rise in the original sojourn into the IW tier list in the old days. His neutral P is fast reaches far and the second hit is stuid fast and I was finding myself breaking a surpising amount of negation because of it. His basic attacks do high damage hit for hit and his Death Moves do higher than average damage so all those things can make him a ightmare for unskilled players used wailing on buttons and randomly sticking in DMs

I was thinking the *EXACT SAME THING!* Like wtf do you mean 5⭐ and not 7, when the Doc got 2 Perfects? 😐
@Dr._Doppietta2 жыл бұрын
I was wondering that too. I even did a 100hits combo and I still got 5 stars. I'm pretty sure it's just bugged at this point. LOL
@heavenlystarboi26972 жыл бұрын
@@Dr._Doppietta I don't even know if it could or could not be bugged, but i think it's not! Cause the first time you perfected Buu was TAS'less, and the 2nd w/ TAS, so it's definitelly the game. Maybe to increase the rank you gotta kill with an Ultimate, because that breaks their health bar, instead of cracking?

Idk man, "Technique" in this game has always been quite vague about what it should measure.

"This is how the fight would go if I %@$#&#&" what? I completely didn't understand that last statement. It stopped sounding like English.

Just enable subtitles. ;) I've literally written the subtitles for the whole video exactly for this. 6:41 "This is how the fight would go if I used TAS to win."

Doto's biggest issue is him not wanting to work with the system. Opponent goes blue hyper mode? He does it, no matter the difference in Ki. As if that somehow stops them. He also never takes any advayange of the actual mechanics like that burst dash. He also never seems to power up his movies by buying skills. He ALMOST NEVER dodges. I played this game recently on keyboard, and destroyed most boss fights on hard. The supposed impossible difficulty he was on. Just by not doing what he does.

He's new to the game, ofc he does big mistakes.

@@JeremyCrimson There's a difference between someone saying "this is hard' to him constantly saying "bro this guys got combos". The guy literally is claiming it's harder than it is, even when he won't do the most basic things that can save him.

I've made even more new modding methods for this series over the last couple of years and I'm Actually as I was already in the past at the very top list of best modders for this series with most method created. Your Idol Dotodoya knows nothing Just like you and Falcon knew nothing of FighterZ and it's game code,you both only had very superficial casual gamer knowledge about it .Thankfully admins have erased you all in that comment thread long ago.
