We had a Kirby for over 15 years. It finally bit the dust. My husband loved that old Kirby. Had wonderful attachments for all kinds of cleaning.

The end advice (don't delay your success, etc.) is the best. It is a long and hard road sometimes but becoming a minimalist is one of the best things I've ever done for myself; in essence, it was a form of self care. I'm also now able to take better care of my home and it has had a ripple effect on my relationships and whole life!

That's such a good way to think about it - the ripple effect. I feel like the desire to simplify belongings naturally leads to simplifying so many other aspects of life.

We do! It looks like a lot of boots because a few of them are hand me down boots for my younger kids that they haven't grown into yet :)

So I didn't use the glasses :( but I did use the larger Corning Ware dishes!

Im a SAHM with 30 plants 4 kids 4 dogs 4 turtles 3 fish tanks and 2 parrots in a pear tree haha jk But anyways im finding it hard to manage keeping up with my regular cleaning and responsibilities and this decluttering is such an energy and time suck too. Any tips??

That's awesome that you have 4 kids! It's a lot though - I think I'm going to do a video about keeping a house clean with pets. My one biggest tip is to just do a little every day - I find even 15 minutes each day helps tremendously. I feel like it's not too much time but it's enough time to get a lot done!

@@tarynmaria_ok cool sounds like a good video to watch. Havent seen many videos with pets as the focus and they do bring in a lot of mess cleaning products and food and toys and it can add up to clutter sometimes. people dont think about all that or need help managing everything. Definitely agree on daily cleaning I always keep up with the kitchen if nothing else. Dirty dishes in the morning anger me for some reason put me in a bad mood before i even get going
