Its like, i ~got~ it. It made sense. That was def a typa fear i had as a kid. Like i would stand shitless outside my mom’s room spooked by lights and noises amd spaces that were different than in the daytime, weird ominous and empty shit, but like, it wouldn’t have made a good movie😂. It was so boring i shut it off like 15-20 in and called up the dude who recommended to me to curse him out for wasting my time😂

This movie is the definition of an online fad film. It literally is an experimental horror movie though 😂. I’m 25 and numb with horror movies but this movie… this movie is the one that actually terrifies me. Horror is subjective, if it doesn’t scare you, great. Doesn’t make it a terrible movie. There are certain aspects of this movie that not everyone understands at a visceral level, or not everyone relates to. And that’s fine. Yes there are long shots of ceilings and walls. Yes little actually happens. That’s the point. But if you actually watched the movie, there is a subtle storyline that is being presented. It would defeat the whole purpose of the movie if there were several things going on at once, action scenes, jumpscares every couple minutes, or a straight forward plot with dialogue. I encourage everyone going into this film to expand your mind and actually try to live inside this nightmarish hellhole that these kids are going through, and how it actually mimics reality in several different ways (nightmares, sleep paralysis, paranoia, etc.). Some people really get triggered by this movie. But if you were never afraid of the dark, never afraid of being trapped, never afraid of home invasions, being abandoned, turning on cartoons as a kid to distract yourself, or even death, then I don’t think this movie is for you.

All movies are subjective so that means its a terrible movie to ME it doesn't have to be you. I was scared of the dark as a child as well and this movie didn't do move me at all. Plenty of other people feel the same way I do too. Also I say in the video I don't care if someone likes the movie my problem is people acting like the people who don't like this movie is too slow to understand it but if you actually watched the video you would know that😂. This would've been fine as a short film but to make it this long is dragging it out and you not gon convince me that this is good🤦🏾‍♂️

Listen here, me and my friend got terrified by this movie and we had been through many of them before. There is nothing like skinamarink's horror. And I see why your casual shallow horror enjoyer can't understand/feel those layers. Same goes for sinister tapes if you expect a gore level similar to the saw movie it is going to be disappointing. "Expecting something to happen" and can't figure out why it is not happening is very similar to my previous logic. If you were not feeling like a hopeless kid, disturbed, shocked and lonely during the events then it is probably not for you
