Martin is my favorite, because of the story lines and his ability to create characters like Jerome, and Shanaynay. I like the fact that they get along so well also.

Wasted my damn time. Why do they ignore the best movies and hype up the worst ones wtf literally this was just walls ceiling and whispering how u scared Imagining a black figure chasing you and jumping into your parents bed and them not being there would be horrifying

OK. I agree with all, but 1 thing that you said. This movie is a "black people need to do/not do" like the 1st one. It is dumbed down from the 1st movie basically because those that it needs to reach are the most ignorant amongst us. So they couldn't afford to do nuance. And the last story is... the black guy knew that dude was racist. He was even helping him reach blavk people because he understood that he doesnt get blacks. He was an "Uncle Tom". He turned a blind eye for his own advancement. The ghost that came to him made him do what they did. Die so future generations could live. If he didn't die, his child would have. It could have been written, directed, ect better. I won't watch it again. But I get what they tried to do. Hopefully they reached just a few of the people that needed to get the message.

One of the worst things about this movie for me is that they started off making Teyana Taylor's character a badass and then they made her an idiot at the end? Why couldn't they make her the head of the military? Like the reason why she wouldn't marry the guy is because she really wanted to head up the military? Something cool like that?

This movie is the definition of an online fad film. A bunch of loser nobodies online whose only exposure to horror is paranormal activity part 12 and have never heard of subtext & subtly, freely promote it because their favorite influencer who typically caters to 9 year olds name dropped it between their ad breaks for Prime and Express VPN, and like the human version of infection, they spread its name not actually having seen the thing.

it was painful enough the first time. you have guts to watch it again. and you're right, they crowbarred everything from the first movie in there. there was barely an original laugh in the whole movie. i don't understand how Eddie could have read this script and thought this would do the original justice. it was so bad i can't even watch the original anymore knowing this movie exists.
