It's so crazy to me as an intermediate player watching these GMs talking about a position saying "Oh I'm just getting smoked/destroyed" meanwhile the evaluation is +/- 1.0 😂😂 They way they described these positions you would think they were down a couple queens or something LOL
@alexorozco3037 ай бұрын
It’s crazy how bad he started and nearly lost every game only to win the event. Strong. Lol
So happy to have stumbled on this gem of a channel! Content is top-notch and Anish is a chess maestro for sure. BUT, and it’s a big but, there’s something that’s been keeping me up at night, tossing and turning, seeking answers in the abyss of the 64 squares. Hear me out… It’s about the channel’s thumbnail. Yes, the A. It stands tall and proud, sure, like a valiant knight preparing for battle. Only this knight has embarked on a journey without its right leg. It’s like castling without a rook, a pawn without the promise of promotion, a king without his queen. How does it stand? What keeps it balanced? Is it a secret message, a new opening strategy, or perhaps a warning to all the other capitol letters that dare approach? Regardless, it bothers me. Please consider donating a prosthetic limb to this sad looking A. Thanks for considering. Also, congrats on the TT win.

Good games good stream man… this is just a one guy opinion but you are more entertaining than Hikaru. He bitches to much and doesn’t know the term sarcasm. So he’s not funny at all. If you could nail some cool background music I think it will make the stream more easy going. Keep it up!
@kingsize557 ай бұрын
He explained somewhere during the stream he kept getting copyright strikes for playing music, so he understandably got tired of that.

KZbin is much more strict than Twitter with their DMCA bans, they have an algorithm that will auto ban. Also, I’m sure Anish appreciates your compliment, but you could have done it without putting down Hikaru. If you don’t like Hikaru or his content that’s fine. At the least Hikaru is his colleague, who knows if they’re friends but I’m sure Anish wouldn’t want people bringing that negativity into his community.

Grovel: 1.lie or crawl abjectly on the ground with one's face downward. 2.act in an obsequious way in order to obtain someone's forgiveness or favor. Vishy often uses this word to describe his play when he knows the position is a draw and if he tries anything ambitious he will probably lose. He mostly means making passive defensive moves.
