If you can get the pump above everything else it will save you a lot of grief . I have the same pump in my room just below ceiling level I can’t add a photo ..if you can’t do it put a check valve on it in case the power goes off

The first thing I've got to ask Harlan, is a fishroom really ever really delclared complete? 🙂 You are not alone. I've overfilled tanks standing right next to them. But I do like your idea adding the bulkhead. None of my tanks are drilled. Your yard is amazing! It looks like you're right on the edge of the jungle. Loads of really beautiful plants.
