Well done so proud you seem like a nice doctor I have cerabal palsy and general anxiety disorder I always get worried before a dentist appointment they have never hurt me I got braces got my teeth fixed but I still have fear

Our dental school (Midwestern AZ) is 10x easier than undergrad. Most of my friends only study half a day a week the first 2 years, then not really at all the last 2

How difficult would you say getting into oral surgery is? I am going into junior year with a 3.98 in college and I got a 33 on the ACT in high school about to take DAT. Ive job shadowed an oral surgeon for over 100 hours and it seems pretty awesome. Do you think it's possible to want and plan to go into oral surgery or is that too futuristic and it'll happen if it happens? Do you think it's possible for me to get into oral surgery?

In my opinion I don't see that happening in the US. I think if anything the scope of general dentistry is only going to broaden out with more and more technology.
