Need to put 5% limo black tint over the face of both SMD meters. That way when they're off they look like a black glossy surface like the iPad does. And it would also dim them some when night driving.

Definitely one of the funnier vids in my opinion. Glad to see that you are happy with the progress and almost 100% done! Hope the fam and newborn are doing well 😀

If you mist flat black spray paint over the primer before you wet sand it, as u sand it the black will stay in the low spots or imperfections. Guide coat, it helps a lot! Truck looks awesome though!!

HAMMERHCA so wet sanding is not block sanding now? If your sanding with a block of some kind then ur block sanding. Doesn't matter if it is wet or dry. U can use a guide coat in any stage of body work if u see fit to do so. It's a way to see the imperfections instead of just feeling them with your hand so it helps out quite a bit.

If you are going to still do JUST the head gaskets on the tbird I would recommend draining all coolant and oil then dimantle to get the heads off and send them out to be pressure checked and cleaned(possibly milled if warped) at a machine shop. While the heads are off, pour in oil through the "lifter" galley(if it's pushrod)untill the engine is completely full( you may need to stop up the oil dipstick tube)you should see oil bubble up around the Pistons. This will force as much coolant as possible down to the bottom of your oil pan. It's best if the oil is hot but let it sit this way for at least a day. Make sure you drian it before the put it back together. Used oil would be cheaper if you can find it available.

Hey man, I’ve tried all those clear coats and different paints for years working on cars . The best stuff I’ve found , is a product called spray maxx glamour clear . There is a paint shop off the 405/Burbank that sells the cans . Same as automotive clear but in a can . Trust me it works . I’m local to you i might have an extra can of you wanna try it out .
