This video took a lot longer to get together than I thought, since this last stage of drafting took 4 months more than I originally thought lol. The joys of writing. Anyway, thanks for watching everyone and if you haven't already seen the first two parts in this series, here is a playlist of all my writing vlogs. I really enjoy filming these so expect more in the future 😊. Writing vlogs playlist: kzbin.info/aero/PLvsslqTgKsUnAw7_tGr3XnBNiuAqhNHIl

Congratulations on finishing!! I absolutely love these documentary-style videos! It’s very interesting to follow your process. I hope every now and then you take the time to reflect on just how far you’ve come! Your dream is almost a reality! Happy Belated Birthday! - Please, please don’t worry about age! - You’re super young! The truth is, it doesn’t really matter. Any expectations others have of you, or you have of yourself based around what you think you should have done by your age; are completely false. They’re just social constructs based on other people’s opinions. There is no right or wrong answer to your life. Don’t let other people’s views on time taint yours. Stay true to your own path and don’t worry about what anybody else is doing. Also Iasmina, please don’t worry about spending that money on the formatting program! You’re investing in your passions, yourself & your future. It’s worth it. You’re not doing this purely for money, it’s a passion. Even from a money perspective, in the long term that $300 is a very small business cost. It was interesting watching you choose your next book! I’d have to say that you should try not to worry about time and reading books. Look at the way you chose what you wanted to read. There were lots of books you felt like you 'should' read, but the decision was made so easy by the fact there was one book you were clearly passionate about. That's ultimately the reason why you won’t have to worry about not having enough time to read all the books you want to. Stick with what you're truly interested in and immediately passionate about, don't worry about the books you think you 'should' read. Follow your passion & joy. This is a passion after all!! Hope this helped, wishing you all the best and I cannot wait to see what’s next for you! Best wishes, Zach

I'm sooooo excited that you've finished the book! If you want to get feedback from a Brazilian reader, u can count on me! I'm not a writer, I'm just a regular reader that looooooves fantasy, YA books etc. I've also burned out some time ago, so I doooo relate when u talk about it. I'm sending muuuch light from BR to you! ;***

It is nice to know that others struggle the way I do when writing. Editing is just the worst. My second time through NaNo was great. But I took advice to create a book around 50k and I think, in post I would have liked to do more. Doesn’t self publishing kill the chance of the series being picked up? Think I read that somewhere. So if self publishing I think a stand-alone would be safer. Reading your own stuff works best for me if I leave it ages. Forget what I have written. Then get fresh eyes on it.

Yes, if you self-publish, unless the series is a standout success, traditional publishers won't pick it up ( yet at that point you don't need a trad publisher if you're that successful on your own). But that's why I have multiple projects on the go, some more suited for one type of publishing than the other. And self-publishing can be very lucrative if done right, there's so many resources available these days, it just takes so much more work and time (and money) since you run everything yourself.

You could make a business out of formatting other people’s books once you get more experience. One indie I know charges $25 flat. Get 12 clients and it’s paid for.
