Super inspiring to see you write different genres. So far I've first drafted a book 1 and am halfway through a first draft of book 2. I can't fathom writing something totally different until this story is told. But we'll see as I evolve as a writer if that's my pattern going forward or not. 🤩

Zillow has definitely been my friend when trying to find what a house, a ranch, a condo looks like that fits my characters... Google Maps and Google Earth has also been my friend when I am writing in a location I am unfamiliar with.

Maybe how you outline was a factor in your new speed? I just changed how I outline all my books and I've been writing faster than I ever have in my life, also the book is definitely the easiest I've ever written in my life. I feel some parallels with what's happening in your world. Go us!

I’m currently writing a story and my mother told me that I won’t ever get my story done because I keep switching it up and I get new ideas from the internet. I’ve tried explaining how authors do drafts and she doesn’t seem to get what I’m saying
