Honestly, Nikki could upload a video only once a year and I'd still be her biggest fan. I'm happy that she puts out content that she genuinely enjoys rather than just making as much content as possible. Thank you for sticking this KZbin thing out. I'd like to think I'm an OG glamazon. I found your videos in 2015 when I had lost my job with a broken leg, my husband and I weren't in the best place. I was in a low low point in my life. Your videos pulled me out of my funk. I love your personality so much, I think your ways may have even rubbed off on me, which is a good thing. I was a very shy, timid person. Now, I don't let ANYONE walk all over me. Thank you so much Nikki, you are like the older sister I never had. Love you so much!

Ah I love that! I found her around the same time as well. I have thought what would Nikki do in situations sometimes 😂 especially when I need to call places or stand up for myself, I too was pretty timid & I have this weird thing where I have a hard time speaking up for myself but I can easily stand up or defend others. I love that so many of us collectively think of her as an older sister ❤ she’s a few years older than me & I dont have an older sibling but I’m that older sister for my brother & cousin. It feels so good knowing that I can be there for my cousin, she’s 15 & I remember being that age. Kids are mf mean & their brains just don’t think situations through very well sometimes 😅 her mom is very mean to her & also signed her rights away this year bc her new husband didn’t want my cousin in his house so I know that is going to be something that will cause her trauma for the rest of her life. She never educated her on skincare, periods, confidence… anything, but loves to point out that she has a gap in her teeth n acne. She thanks me often for being a big sister and mom figure & I TRULY pray that we always have such a close relationship but I wish I had that older sister figure. My mom & I were close but there’s some stuff you just don’t wanna talk to mom about lmao. So glad everything is doing better for you now & that you had an outlook when you were going through a tough time ❤ 2015 was a strange year for me as well, I’ve kinda blocked it out lol.

Coming from someone who's mom is my manager (I'm a student-athlete so my mom takes care of all the things for me while I go to school, practice, and matches) But I completely understand where your coming from Nikki. Sometimes we come across people who don't hold our best interest at heart and choose to make a profit off of our dreams, but the fact that you didn't let it affect you moving forward says alot about your character. I interned at an influencer agency and honestly everything you said was so true, they even took advantage of me lol wanted me to work a 9-5 a whole 8 months more for minimum wage, when I already worked 6 months at minimum while other girls were being doing the same work and being paid, it was so unfair and so ridiculous. You dodged a bullet but while I was there I would always pity you for brand deals. In that space there are very few Latinas and so everytime I got the chance I would pitch my favorite Latina creators. I’m no longer in the influencer marketing space for for the very reasons you explained but always supporting you ❤

Tbh I think you are more real and profitable without a manager. 1) influencers become very money hungry and product based when they have a manager to respond to/pay 2) that type of attitude shows and loses the audience. we will support you 100% because we love you, know you only want to help others and know that you only do a lot of sponsorships for your family ❤️
