Linear, hence my mild disinterest. It's still good, especially with high crit damage, but you can't get x16 crits with it and I'm a bit sad about that.

@@wanderbots although specifically for this build (thick boy + scout) the single shot base damage is so high and the scout's extra crit multiplier is so high that a double crit produces absolutely insane damage. With the crit goggles artifact it's very possible to get well over 100%.

I believe the way the "Overkill" shrapnel works is not from just *killing* and enemy, but from killing the enemy with a Critical Hit. Maxing out the M1000 definitely helps, but the Jury-Rigged Boomstick is certainly effective for anything nearby because of this.

In your first run you were talking about missing gold veins, ive noticed my gold is usually a vein or 2 smaller on Morkite second objectives. I dont know if it takes a gold vein spawn or how that works. but somethings ive come across as well

Does combining all the shots mean all the fire rate between them is added to the reload cooldown? I feel like the first really good P1000 run you had the big boy fired way faster.

hey wander, maybe try a run focusing less on non combat stats like pickup radius, xp rate and move/mining speed sometime? for me the game became way easier when i let go of these perks and started focusing only on the good things, like crit dmg/chance, hp, and the good stats for your weapons, and it seems like your fast decision making and concentration on commentary makes you default to thing you are comfortable with and not experiment some other ways of playing. if interested, i think after maxing meta, +15% move, and 1 green upgrade of mining and pickup each is good enough

I have managed to get the M1000 Thick Boy overclock down to a 1 second reload time before, but it did have less damage than it could have had as I focused on reload time over damage.
