I was just playing Bosco via MAME. Such a fun game and what a cool cabinet! Going to try sandwiching that bezel between some glass or plexi? If nothing else it looks well scannable.

The cardboard bezel is more of a shroud that's designed to fold at the bend and cover everything around the tube inside of the cabinet behind the glass bezel, so I'll probably just stick it back in the same way. I have a relatively high tolerance for patina, which is why I'm going with zero cosmetic restoration on this one!

these cabinets must have been sold in Canada as well , because I swear I had a Double Dragon in one (one of 4 I had at the time )

@@overtimearcade four double dragons in various states, got them at a local auction for 25 per (machines were CHEEEEEEP 20 years ago at auction ) all in different cabinets , fixed three from 4 and sold 2 , reconverted another of the cabs (put a Cabal kit in it and kept the double dragon parts for the Sidam conversion). at one time I had maybe 50 machines, sold a ton back then, sold the rest off about 15 years ago to fund getting back into playing in bands, never completely lost the bug, may get a vertical to put an old multi board in I still have . I keep coming across spare parts I have squirreled away and either giving them away or selling them

Nice video Charlie on the Italian Bosconian arcade.. I always like how you get these arcades fixed up. Hard to find someone in my area that will fix arcades. I need a 25 inch crt monitor to go in my Ms Pac-Man/ Galaga 20 year reunion arcade. And my Defender needs the PCB boards updated or repaired? I know you had answered me a while back, I guess I lost the message. Any suggestions on getting these things done? Thank you, Will

Thanks, Will! The best places to find replacement monitors would be the KLOV forums and Facebook Marketplace. Brad Raedel is the top guru when it comes to fixing Williams boards like Defender.
