My guess for the blue flower is either one of the flowers from the ending of tropical freeze when the trumpet is sounded, but these are not blue, or one of the secret relics from the same game, but these would be better as gray tiles

The flower may be a reference to the flower in level 1 of Donkey Kong Country Returns. If you go underneath the hut there is a flower that you can blow on that reveals a puzzle piece. I may be overthinking it and it is a bit of a stretch but it's the only thing I can think of.

Really well done, I grabbed all the sets out of loyalty to DK but ran into a lot of the same issues. Dude, this is so fire. I've actually been working on enhancements of the sets for a stop-motion, and I totally agree with your criticism of them. Most design picks just don't work for Donkey Kong, or the demographic that genuinely loves the DK franchise. I had to remove DK's foot to get him in the minecart. Otherwise, he would just fall out I'm going to try to make Lanky and Chunky as well. Great video❤

Jeez, a lot of your criticisms are just minor nitpicks. Like, spending a huge chunk of the video whining about an inconsequential flower piece was really unnecessary. I think these builds are fine as is, though I do appreciate the stability improvements. However, you actively admitted that the final product you made looks worse than what you started with. While it makes a nice display piece and I do like a few of your improvements to the treehouse, everything else looks super cluttered and packed together. I think many AFOLs like you refuse to admit that the Super Mario theme, and Lego as a whole, is a toy first and foremost, and isn’t looking to appeal to people who want sets sitting on their shelves outside of the D2C sets, rather emphasizing play features. If you want something more displayable, there’s already quite a few sets for you, but the theme isn’t really designed for that type of audience overall. You don’t need to nitpick the stuff you already don’t like. Why bother regurgitating what so many people have already said? If you don’t like it, don’t give it your time or money. AFOLs are always complaining about references and accuracy to source material, instead of admitting that they’re criticizing a playful toy for children that doesn’t necessarily need to represent all the deep cuts. Get real, man.
