@@11TerrariaKid I feel like how it's gonna go is they keep updating whilst their playercount inevitably goes down so they turn to new players and create updates and events for them whilst making it even more laggier, keeping the cycle

Hey UNKNOWOOD here again. This will literally do nothing as the problem with TDS is the CPU and this only leaves head room for the GPU, don't spend money on this for roblox, spend it for games like Helldivers 2 a game with out upscalers. Btw i don't have anything on 5ouls good guy used his strats.

Quick note, frame gen has to wait for all frames then place fake ones in between so don't even bother. Again this app enables Vsync for roblox so you might want it for that, you can also enable Vsync on nvidia gpus with the nvidia app.

Tdx managed to make crappy devices less laggy, even on a large map. All thanks to the optimization update, I can finally beat Nightmare mode with little lag.

both games have relatively poor optimization for me. TDX takes forever to load into (for me and my friends) and has occasional lag spikes but TDS overall runs on less FPS with higher ping. Conclusion? Both games need to work on their optimization. But hats off to you for not glazing the hell out of TDX and calling TDS a trash game because their optimization is bad.

@@4dstrawberry-l9z42fthe laggiest part of tdx is as you said loading in but once you get oast that its usually butter smooth if ur not on a enemy heavy mode like endless, in TDS lag will follow you as early as fallen mode and it makes it so annoying and legit detrimental to your round and overral gameplay

@@Wonderwasnttaken can't relate. My phone lags on everything INCLUDING TDX early game. Both games lag just about the same for me, maybe 10-15% more or less AT MOST.

For PC, increasing the FPS cap *sorta* works. But it'll still have no change if you're using a potato computer. Besides, the main problem is the enemies having too many assets (the game kind...) It's more obvious when there's a bunch of enemies cluttered into one spot, and the game began to lag noticably due to the enemies having too many unoptimized, and unrendered parts. It becomes more noticeable with mobile as Roblox there is still running on a single player Minecraft ping without Optifine.

Yeah, thats why roblox currently introduced backface culling, which is in beta right now but on the default city model you cam gain from 80fps to 130fps. It works because this "method" of rendering only renders the things you see, not with the things that are behind what you see.

@@StarButterfIy_fanits a tds bug. Music doesnt play if you have dj sound on high and get your camera really near (devs programmed it wrong). Same goes with cutscenes but sometimes they mute the ost or make it quiet during the cutscene. To fix that you need to go to tds settings and click on one of the music loudness setting and itll strart playing

Whenever you boot up tds on an SSD, you still have enough time to 100% gta 5, and it STILL won't have fully loaded because the amount of assets this game has makes it impossible.
