I Fixed the Black Screen on Marvel Rivals Steam Deck and Now It's AMAZING!

I fixed the black screen issue by repeatedly tapping on the touchscreen, it worked after a while.

This worked for me too, just mashed around at the bottom middle of the screen until it came on, next time the game started there was no issue

Same here. Haven't tested it yet, but some say you need to force Proton Experimental for the post match screen to appear.

@@christopherescobar10 Proton Experimental worked for me. I never had a black screen while starting the game, but always got one at the end of the match. With the proton change I no longer have issues.

i only had the black screen glitch once but after i lowered the graphics with nothing else changed, the game ran great. steam deck got another one

the other option to use the mouse in desktop mode to get past that step, don't use the touch screen at all though, it will crash

Fun game but load times are weird. I always get stuck but can hear the announcer say to pick my hero. Then by the time I can, we are almost in game. FPS is pretty unstable too. It can go from 60 to 40 fast. What is super-resolution scaling? Is that the same thing as choosing the quality of it? Why do we have both?

I love the deck, but all these steam os updates are messing me up. Might get the ally x and sell the deck...
