I wish Nintendo would’ve given us the background they made to show them off. That gold bubble background would’ve been perfect instead of a normal white or black.

Really does put into perspective how big an impact design is. Simply filling the blank slate that the front of the lite is made most of my friends say they'll get it, only to be disappointed and retract their statement after seeing the original (Yes I showed the fixed version before the original).

There is an OLED mod soon to be released for the switch lite. Right now it’s in the preorder stage if you don’t mind a DIY option. Just search KZbin for Super5 OLED Installation. They don’t have a gold bezel at the moment though, but it’s still worth a look.

@@JordiumZ Yes they did....an OFFICIAL Switch LITE OLED....that would have been unique. The Switch OLED ToTK edition is different from a Lite

Looks nice, but not a huge change. Id say the original must be pretty good if it didn’t take much to “fix” it. I think the button changes you made are better, while the edges with the hylian text/symbols is a bit more personal taste. I like it but could see some preferring it to stay more simplistic. But in general I think you improved it slightly. Nice work, tho I do like the original still

I would: 1. Remove the triangle pattern on the crest and replace it with a detailed version. 2. Add similar patterns to what I did on the front to the left and right borders. As I said in the video though, the backplate design doesn't bother me anywhere near as much as the lack of design on the front.

They really have been painfully boring and it's a shame because I do think it's the best feeling Switch system with the best ergonomics. An Atomic Purple version or something similar to the OLED Splatoon 3 version would have been ideal. At least something with a handful of bright colors or see-through plastic.

I just want to say that the system being a complete copy of the 3DS' design is literally the reason I'm buying it. I was like, "YES, now it can match my NEW 3DS!" But I will admit, your additions here are 100% perfect. Definitely now wish we had that added to the front. I'm OK with the back as is with the focus on the triangles, but I'd be even more OK with it if the front had that extra flair.
