Nintendo Switch Lite in 2024 - Still Worth Buying?

Over the last few years, I've found myself actually taking the Switch Lite with me, waaaaaaay more than the Switch. It's just more "pocketable."

Looking to get my 2 boys (ages 7,5) their first switch Consoles and been looking at the lite as it seems it may be better and more comfortable for their hands thanks for your informative video I think I will get them the lite to start of with

I would get them a standard nintendo switch, so that they can play games together. games such as nintendo switch sports, mario kart 8, and super mario 3d world are really fun to play with family and friends, but with the nintendo switch lite you can't play games together on a tv, and you would have to buy seperate joycons which cost an additional 80 dollars to even be able to play together on the small switch lite screen.

Yeah I definitely have the switch light. I like it and I only buy Nintendo exclusives on it. Hopefully the new Zelda game looks good on it.

Did upgrade from new 3ds to a switch lite. 3ds prices are skyhigh I sold it and could buy 2 second hand switches lite for that money.

Must depend on where you are, I got 5 “new” 3DS, 6 “new” 3DS XL, a clear black 2DS, and a green/black 2DS XL all from 100-250 each from Japan/US local. The only exception was the super famicom which yeah I had to shell out $750 for new in box 😅

It was a regular new 3ds sold for 220€. Bought a switch lite with pokemon violet game for 115€. I live in Europe.

Two different devices. If you want console and handheld device experience at same time get Steamdeck with dock or Switch OLED paired with 1080p monitor for best experience.
