Actually, I'm going to use the front wheels from the McLaren Senna set while narrow this allows it to spin freely if you move the 1x2 block with a hole back by 1 plate. I think it's more in scale with the narrow tire to the wide one.

I actually have that set I've build the purple dodge and I had put a wide body kit before I even was done building it I put a body kit on while building the car because it would look sick and its pretty clean have yet to build the dragster

Thanks for the tip on the wheels it looks much better. ordered some of Bricklink before even building it. Along with some parts to build out the back a little so the wheels spin freely. I also build the front end 6 studs shorter right away. the build allows you to do this and this makes it look much better I think. Just wish there were slightly bigger front wheels available with the same look. maybe the technic belt wheel with tire in black

Thank you very much for this video! When you suggest using replacement parts that don't come with the kit and must be sourced, could you please include LEGO part numbers? LEGO part numbers for the McLaren rear wheels and the tires to match would have made applying your ideas far easier as one could then search them out. Otherwise, thank you so much for a wonderful review. I purchased this kit after it was discontinued and had to pay significantly more for it. But I love both cars and feel very fortunate to have them. Now, to just get those replacement rear wheels! Best wishes. (Liked and Subscribed)

Man sorry about you accident but toyata is considered by many in the world as the best car brand for reliability and now with GR they are what TRD was in the 90s so they make things go faster like SRT as a big toyota guy I still got the supra and want more toyotas the headlights on the supra annoyed me at first but I got used to it later by that I mean like an hour

Oh yeah, I didn't notice they were different. I took the back wheels off the Technic McLaren - the thicker ones.

That would probably make the back wheels spin better. In my change, they don't roll well but it looks alright which is what I care about more.

I really want to put a wheelie bar and parachutes on my srt top fuel car Also the tires are a problem because 1 they are not slick drag tires and 2 They are to small Any suggestions on how to fix this 🤔

I just put tires on the dragster from the McLaren Senna but there are plenty of bigger LEGO tires out there. It's definitely harder to find big slicks though. A wheelie bar and parachute is a great idea though.
