I have had the honor of seeing Death a few times and hang out with Chuck and the guys here in Mass. The years have changed little for me as far as who is playing their music. I have, as well as friends bands. We are all in our late 50's now and Chucks music was a part of our lives for so long. But seeing younger guys digging Chucks music is important. Death will never Die.

I saw them twice at Milwaukee Metal Fest, first night they played all of The Sound of Perseverance and it was amazing except they were playing in the smaller, sweaty venue. Then the next day they were in the open ballroom venue and they played all of Scream Bloody Gore and ended with Pull the Plug and Living Monstrosity. They fucking killed it

YOOO THEY PLAYIN IN BERKELEY SOON, sad i cant go but man that is sick Edit: Also bringing two former death members in the lineup was a fantastic move. Hoglan and Giorgio contributed a lot

Boddy also played on symbolic so it’s 3 people that did contribute to the band

I saw the show that came to my state and love it. They really have the tone a vibe locked in. I got a concert buddy of mine to come that was skeptical. He ended up having an amazing time too and thanked me for convincing him to come. They clearly showed you can do tribute shows right and give people who didn’t have the chance to see the OG the next best thing.

Their setlist was crazy for the show i went to probably like 20 songs and almost 2 hours

I was moved beyond words when I saw the Denver TSOP show for my 40th birthday. I recorded the entire show to keep it forever and I'll be releasing it soon on my channel. I'm glad you had such an incredible time and I laughed at your 3 string 5 string surprise for Steve and the joy of support for Max who LITERALLY has an impossible task. My biggest joy was seeing the original writers of the majority of the album of TSOP, specifically Steve's bass parts! SUCH an incredible show and a GREAT review sir. Another great review and video!

Hell yeah, I recently saw Cryptopsy in a very small club and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life.

I saw them play recently in LA. It was crazy hearing all these bangers live that I never thought I would. The setlist was perfect and it’s insane how Max can do every single version of Chuck’s vocals and play at the same time.

Fuck dude I panicked at the merch booth and didn’t get the shirt you got on in this video… so sick. Their show was amazing, I saw them in Lawrence, KS and I drove about 3 hours to see them and stay with a friend. So worth the drive. I think it’d be worth traveling 1,000 miles for it too! Glad you got to see them Varvis I’ve been enjoying the Death (and other metal) content!

Cheers man! I was going to get a different shirt, the one with the face on the mountain but they were sold out of larges so I got this one. Very happy I did. Glad you enjoyed the show and the content man!

He is a busy man
@pierrefraser41763 ай бұрын
I think Gene being a Vancouver hometown boy is because of his time in Strapping Young Lad. Was wondering that myself I wasn't at this show but went to Scream Bloody Gore at the Rickshaw the night before and it was incredible. Seeing them perform Within The Mind was insane.

I got to see both nights in Berkeley and damn dude that first night was nuts crowd surfers went on the whole time and the pit was raging I was in it the whole time and crowd surged over 10 times and Steve even said at the end that that show was the craziest of the tour because it’s the Bay Area where thrash was made 😤 (I ended up seeing the last show too but it wasn’t as crazy)
@Huddle_House563 ай бұрын
I’m very upset this tour came NOWHERE close to the southern/southeastern United States man, especially considering Florida is the birthplace of this music and Chucks home. I just couldn’t foot this one and hope to god they do a fall/winter leg down here.

Oddly and cospicuosly during Painkiller they omitted/flubbed? the pinch harmonic part. Other than that and Steve having some tech problems several times playing and tweaking his amp while conversing with his bass tech getting it straight. Audibly it had zero negative effects to my critical listening ears.
