I flew BA CityFlyer Club Europe - Worth the cost in 2024?

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Mrs B have used City Flyer and concur with you on seats and space. That said, the baggage allowance and Lounge proves to be a saving over low cost carriers. Thank You 🙏

For sheer convenience BA City Flyer out of LCY is excellent, however like you say in your video, I personally cannot justify the cost of a Club Europe seat (no middle seat, no lounge at LCY, and tbh with just 25 rows boarding is hardly a hassle), also, as I generally travel with my other half, flying BA Cityflyer, you don't run the gauntlet of the dreaded third person, as you would from a regular Euro Traveller service. Therefore for me economy on BA Cityflyer is just fine.

Never understood why airlines don't load passengers from back to front and disembark from front to back... instead it's like they actually encourage the mad dash on and off the plane,just to laugh at the chaos.

BA CityFlyer never change. The only difference is the fares are normally lower than BA mainline

An interesting experience for the price, I personally don't think it's worth the money. A week ago, I flew from Nashville to JFK in First on a Delta E175, a big upside on Delta's E175 lay out is, in First on the left, they have single seats, so a 1-2 layout, this made a big difference. However, the meal service consisted of snacks (crips). LCY looks a beautiful airport to land into!

Think lesson to be learnt not to use CityFlyer Club Europe particularly when flying into or out of LCY the Embraer are smaller than say a A320 that would operate from LHR where you are almost guaranteed a blocked off mid seat in CE, for what you paid I would of been disappointed, save your money and go economy from LCY

I have used BA CityFlyer Club Europe to Dublin several times. I have noticed the quality of the food offering has declined, probably due to cost cutting. For a short route like Dublin or Belfast or Amsterdam it’s probably not worth paying for Club Europe as you’re always going to be getting either an aisle seat or a window seat every time … Lucky you getting a hot meal! It’s only breakfast that’s hot on the very short flights otherwise it’s some sort of attempt at a salad, with a salad side and that chocolate bar.
