@keithwalker689217 күн бұрын
It’s awhile since then and still around at 94. My brain has lots of ideas but the body a bit slow at following up. I like the US FAR103 with which I think if you meet it’s conditions you can fly without a license for the plane or pilot. Get a copy of FAR103 and study it . Of course you can’t do this in Canada but you can in the USA. I might go down there and try it.

Did anyone notice around 8:40 ish when Noel points the camera at himself and the overhead PSU’s (passenger service units- reading lights, air vents etc) are visible …. The oxygen mask doors are TAPED SHUT! Unbelievably dangerous practices there. Rather than repairing a loose door that’s prone to opening on landing… they have taped them shut. In a decompression this could be fatal.

Funnily enough, when I flew on SCAT twice, both times my seats were broken. The second flight was particularly bad as the seat back was literally hanging onto the base for dear life. On take off I had to physically sit forward as the back reclined of its own accord, and on landing I had to push back with all my strength as it was determined to plant my face into the seat in front, especially when the pilot planted it firmly and slammed the brakes on in Almaty.

Also flying into Beijing then people just got out of their seats while landing not think one of reasons they want you in your seats is maintain balance of the plane while landing but most didn’t care as I believe this was first trip in a airplane. Truly crazy then so I assume it much better now.
