Buy some mace get one for your purse and one for the RV and also get a portable horn to make loud noises at night if needed to let people know you might be in trouble it’s just the mom in me Charly I know you’ll be fine. Check online to get RV towing etc coverage, that's super important. Also make sure your tires don't have tire rot, that is really important. Don't check at a tire store, they will want to sell you tires whether you need them or not. If the tires are pretty old they will have cracks on the sidewalls, and a little auto repair place in a smaller town are great places to go to for these things and for repairs.

I owned a mint condition all original 19 foot 1977 Dodge Diplomat motorhome. It was a blast from the past. We loved camping with it, but a 440, she guzzled gas at about 7-8 mpg, or 30L/100km. I’d driver her to the campground and leave her for the summer. She was a beautiful vintage motorhome among the $100,000 glampers and was a celebrity in her own right.

Now that you have a real rv you can head to southern cali and find a remote empty beach for yourself to enjoy. Then start surfing or kite sailing or supping etc.

Happy for you. Suggestion: Get a 24 hour gym membership and maybe a membership at a 24/7/365 jjimjilbang. Then you can park at both anytime without probably someone noticing.
