The plastic waterproofing you used likely tore and got worn. You need to use more effective waterproofing methods on the walls and roof. Plus a key in the door to keep unwanted usage of the cabin out. It needed a drain field for when it rains.... next time dig a trench around the base and fill it with rocks that will let water run through and feed that out the side to lower ground to keep the interior from flooding. You needed a more durable waterproofing method on the roof and walls.

We finns use lots of water in sauna. You get clean just by sweating a lot, suddently. Then a little amount of water to flush that away. Thousands of years before soap was invented folks living here in the north found out that birch leaves in a sauna do somehething weird, it makes you cleaner. Birch leaves act like soap.
