Hi, it's a very cool feeling when other people like the house I built in the forest and they still visit. Some guests even leave gifts. And here is the text that was written in the notebook. January 15th. For the first time here, reading this notebook, I learned that your name is Alex. Well done, you have realized my dream. I found your house by chance, walked through the woods and followed the path that led here. I wish you health and good luck. UNKNOWN GUEST. January 21. It was a long and hard way here, but we still got there. Nice house, we liked everything. LEO. January 28th. It was a memorable event in our life, 4 hours in the snowdrifts, but we still found your cozy home. The oven is very warm, it warms our hearts and feet as much as 32 degrees on the thermometer. Was always the way up there. Sleep well, clean behind you and let firewood for the next 24 hours. A present does'nt hurt. Vandalism was unknown till roughly 20 years ago. Blessings from Northern Germany.

Maybe someone can make a wheelchair accessible trail and cabin for people like you and others. Although I can still walk, I can’t walk very far. I have a wheelchair for times when we know there will be walking a lot. We love the mountains of Georgia where my hubby and I rent a cabin every year or two. I've been watching your channel for a long time. This cabin has turned out just lovely , and the sauna is quite clever. Eucalyptus leaves and all. Its especially nice if you have been out in the cold all day, you can get cleaned up and warm, before eating and sleep. I really think you have done such good job. And lastly, the other thing I enjoy, is watching you cook. You cook "from scratch" , homemade healthy meals, but also looks very tasty. I like how you pan fried , what looks like dark rye bread. What I would probably call croutons. I'm going to make it your way. It looked delicious. There are so many of us from all around the world that love to peak in to this little window of your life, you inspire so many, to want to have something similar, and have taught so many how to do so. Thank you!

That sauna of yours is not exactly what a finn would expect, but exellent option when you dont have lots of water available . Thumbs up :) We call that bundle of birch twigs both "vasta" or "vihta". Both can be also called "saunavasta/vihta"

I take it these are cabins along a hiking area , I know of many people here and around the world that hike and stay in small cabins built by others along routes for shelter for themselves to keep going to buy for others as well to share.. is this the case with your cabins or are people just happening upon them and taking it upon themselves to use it ?

My thoughts exactly as I saw him eating their gift of chocolate. Is it just me? I find it not appropriate to just enter someones home uninvited. They came bearing gifts for him so obviously they had planned on finding his cabin. In this case they were decent people and Alex was very fortunate but next time he may not be so lucky.
