MENTAL, that was top stuff Nick, I just looked at the prices , hmm I need to win the lottery :) The Pilot was so calm, and every time he did a manoeuvre I noticed him watching your reactions, I presume to make sure you didn't black out, Cheers pal very interesting video.

Excellent stuff Nick glad you had this opportunity. I've been following aviation since I was a kid 50 years ago. The aircraft was used by the Royal Air Force as a training aircraft from the 50's to early 90's when students over the years went onto the Hunter Lightning Phantom Tornado replaced by the BAE Hawk .A few countries used it as a ground attack aircraft. Though max speed only about 40 mph more than the last versions of the Spitfire

I'm not a scouser, but a lifelong supporter of my local team Hereford FC. As a kid, I recall watching the debut of a promising young midfielder from my home town. He would later sign for Liverpool, but gained fame after transferring to Everton. That lad was Kevin Sheedy!

Don't know that I would call a Strikemaster a fighter jet. It was primarily a jet trainer and sometime ground attack aircraft. Never designed to engage in combat with other aircraft.
