I absolutely adore studytubers and productivity people, but with having ADHD and Dyslexia it’s so hard to work the way others do :( feels like I’m just unable to learn because I don’t know how to revise (and I’m in second year of uni!!!!) or how to stay focused or wake up early

I had lots of troubles with concentration & organisation some time back and a psychologist even thought I have ADHD (but then it got a little better with time, so I was said I was just very stressed and that's why) ... I know it's hard... First of all, getting enough rest and being kind to yourself really helps... I also got support from a pedagog/social worker in school and they assigned me some more time to write exams and gave me some other adjustments, and my grades got quite a bit better while I also became much more relaxed about productivity and felt a little bit more confident. I was also taking a really low dosage of an anti-psychotic and anti-depressant for some time.. But even talking to someone about your (even minor) issues with concentration, organisation etc. every week (or twice!) for 15-45 minutes may really help. I wish you all the best. Try not to stress what you can't control. The most important thing is to be healthy&happy, before any productivity. :)

And taking little steps in the right direction is enough, you definetly don't need to compare your productivity to studytubers. I found it very bad for my overall health when I compared my life to ppl that had those study tumblrs (studyblrs?) and I idealised how I should study & what should I get done way to much. It's best (for me) to turn off my social media, turn off music & put my phone in another room haha

I don't have any experience with ADHD personally, but I really liked Doctor K's idea. He was telling, that switching tasks during work time could help in this kind of situation. You don't have to sit still like others, doing the same math excercises for many hours. Try to diversify and actively change your tasks. Create your own style of learning, school style is not always the best. Hope that it can help you in some way. >.

My INSANELY SPEEDY morning routine: Imagine that online classes begin at 8:15 (Prepare a Yoga Mat right next to the bed before going to sleep) - Set the alarm for 6:30 - Be annoyed at the early alarm - Roll out of the bed at 7:15, and straight onto the yoga mat - Do yoga until 7:30 - Go to the toilet - Take a shower until 7:50 - Run to the kitchen (Class begins in 25 min) - Turn on the hot water boiler - Prepare a bowl of breakfast: ~~ Two Weetabix (Or other wheat/grain things) in the bowl ~~ Pour some milk over the Weetabix ~~ Add a bana ~~ Squash the banana with a fork until it looks like porrige ~~ Add some vanilla yoghurt ~~ Mix it all together - Run over to the boiler thing, and prepare a cup of green tea / hot water and lemon - Get a glass of milk - Run to the room where you have your computer with the two cups, and the bowl stabilized in some weird way - Turn on the computer and eat breakfast when the session starts Hopefully the time has not gone past 8:15 by this point xP

For your luck I have both a morning and night routine. There you go: I wake up at seven and try to get up as fast as possible (which is a lot of time for me) and I let the bed freshen, together with the room by opening the windows. I am very resistent to cold so I do this in the winter too, while, during summer, the window's always open. The second thing I do is go to the bathroom and do my potty duties (because my body screams at me if I don't) Then I go and have my breakfast. After that I check my plants (because I have plants, if you want you can check your animals, or do some admin) Then I make the bed. After that I have my essential toilet routine, which consists of putting eczema cream when I need it, washing face and teeth, moisturize my face and when I don't exercise (which is every other day, when I exercise I have a shower, so I shower every other day after training) I wash the problematic areas (under boob, armpits, intimate areas) Then I dress accordingly to the day (either I wear sportswear when I train, or normal clothing when I don't train) Then I do the AESTHETICC toilet routine (which doesn't happen always and it's not always like this, but in it's complete form consists of: sunscreen, a little bit of makeup, which is usually a bit of concealer and winged eye liner and anti-pimple cream.) Then I write some positive affirmations in my Positivity Bullet Journal And at the end I do a small meditation. While for the night routine: I clean and reorganize my room and space I work in for five minutes Then I undress and put on my PJ's I, again, go with my toilet routine (which consists of a cleansing milk, more moisturizing cream, more anti-pimple cream, if I need it eczema cream, washing teeth and face, probably going to the toilet) After this I meditate again I write my gratitudes for the day in my Positivity BuJo And at the end I read something, watch a video or put a stream that will be my lullaby (I can't sleep if I don't have something to occupy my mind) YES, I DON'T SHOWER IN THE EVENING NEITHER IN THE MORNING. I SHOWER IN THE AFTERNOON, AFTER WORKING OUT fite me (even though this morning routine is so flexible I could just put a workout in and shower afterwards, but okay)

I can share mine 🌞 It doesn't require time of waking up cause it depends when I need to or how I feel like doing ;p Getting up, making bed, drinking a glass of water, toilet and washing my face with cold water to wake me up, brush teeth, yoga for 10-20 minutes. Shower (most of the year I shower at night). Dress up, brush hair. Having a big nutritious breakfast (sandwiches/scrambled tofu/oatmeal with veggies/fruit and healthy fats) and green tea (normal one, not matcha). While I'm eating I watch some video (or few) or vlog that will bring me peace and inspire for the rest of the day. While I drink tea I make some notes, write in bujo, think about what I need to do today. I leave some tea for a tonic so I get up use it on my face, let it try and put some cream. I clean after breakfast and maybe some quick tidy up or clean if there's a need. And finally I choose an activity for the rest of morning 😉

btw holly - if you are open to it, I highly highly recommend toothpaste tablets instead of toothpaste as they are such a simple substitute and would help to reduce plastic waste from the toothpaste tubes as they come in tablet form. I think LUSH have toothpaste tablets and mouthwash tablets too! do consider it.

A morning routine without breakfast isn’t much of a morning routine. I make sure I eat breakfast before I leave for work. I drink coffee, but only on rare occasions. I wake at 4 AM-I find it easier to study early in the morning (just to clarify: I juggle work with grad school, they are generally evening classes, and once a week). By the time 7 AM rolls around, I AM STARVING. 😂 At 7:15 I am out of the door for work, because Manila traffic is HORRENDOUS. I second following Ruby Granger’s routine, because, no coffee! 😉
