Wendy's has the OG Spicy Chicken Sandwich since 1995 when ALL the fast food places sold hamburgers and tiny fish and chicken patty sammiches, yo ! 😅 they started it all with the chicken sandwiches as we know them today!

LOL, BACK IN THE USA! Had no idea there were so many places with chicken sandwiches (burgers😉). Have to say I was surprised the KFC one looked as good as it did, love their spice blend, reminds me of my childhood when they used good chicken. Churches looked tasty as well, and happy to see Wendy’s also came through. Great job Deana and Phil, so much fun. Hope you have a great time while here, can’t wait to see what’s next. Hi. Love the videos. A couple of suggestions: 1) Culver’s in the Midwest including custard (creamier ice cream). 2) WI Supper Clubs such as Duck Inn in Elkhorn or the incredible Ishnala in the WI Dells on Mirror Lake. 3) The House on the Rock attraction close to Taliesin in Spring Green. Just ideas for future videos.

Culvers is awesome...though their chicken sandwich is not that good there. They do, however, have some good fried chicken from what I've heard, but since peanut is involved heavily there, not something that I can really judge there

There are better chicken sandwiches but my all time favorite is Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich. For one it's been the same since it's debut in 1996, two the sandwich is spicy because of the chicken alone no spicy sauce.

The true test is the batter and taste of the chicken. Chick-fil-A : No sauce needed and I don’t know anyone that gets the Deluxe 🤦🏻‍♀️ Next time just get the Spicy sandwich - only pickles. 💕💕🙌 In the US not too many people eat the chicken sandwiches with lettuce/tomato.

I love Chick Fil A spicy chicken Sandy with pickles and American cheese. Wendy’s spicy chicken is also amazing in the same manor. Neither needs sauce IMO. Those are my two favorites!

That “chick fil a” flavor is powdered sugar and msg along with the rest of the usual suspects. I worked at Wendy’s in High School and they had a spicy chicken sammich then and it was bomb! That was almost 30 years ago now. Thanks for the video!

If it is a burger when it is beef, it is also a burger when it is chicken. They have even the same bread bun. So Chicken burger., BTW, here in Portugal they had/have the Chicken McCrispy in spicy version and in Buffalo smoking version.

For me personally my top three are KFC, Wendy’s, and Chick-fil-A equally. Followed by Burger King. I haven’t had Church’s ever and it’s been a long time since I’ve had Popeye’s. Arby’s does have chicken but I don’t remember how it tastes. I usually get the roast beef sandwiches.

I personally think that you choose the wrong Chick fil a Chicken sandwich. You have to go with the original Chicken sandwich. It is so delicious. I could eat one several times a week and still crave it. Also, you should have tried their Mac and Cheese Deana! It is the best.

I tend to like Burger Kings classic Chicken Sandwich, not sure about actually rating it because, to me, it's more of a comfort food thing there. Raising Kane's also has a great one as well. Lee's Chicken also has a pretty good sandwich.

I kind of like the McDonald's cheap McChicken sandwich. The price is right and I don't like the patty too thick. What I do is add a bunch of extra stuff to it, like lettuce tomato cheese, more mayo etc. And it hits the spot.

When I cook I use primarily thighs and legs. Come on, just more flavor. However, as we saw the fast-food chicken sandwiches seem to use primarily breast meat. That's ok. But, you can't really complain that it's dry. That's the nature of chicken breast meat. Are they doing something to the meat to make it less dry? I'll admit, from a consumer perspective, the breast meat 'looks' nicer on the sandwich. Anyway, maybe, just maybe, that's why my favorite chicken meat is less expensive in the store - so much demand for dry breast meat in the drive-through. That's also ok.
