It took me years to understand the joke at the end of the movie, Janice told Regina that she was Lebanese ( from Lebanon ) and Regina thought she said lesbian and started this rumour about her , and the end of the movie the math guy asked Janice are you puerto rican and she replied no I’m Lebanese 🤣

Listen, I get his hesitation. There have been a handful of movies that I wrote off because i saw it as a "girl movie." Then I finally get around to watching it and I end up loving it. I feel like Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, Clueless, and 10 things I hate about you all fall into this category. I was an insufferable know it all when I was younger, I know. Glad I've grown some.

One thing that many people miss is that Janis is also a mean girl. She's the one that convinced Cady to spy on Regina in the first place, and kept trying to find ways to bring her down. She thought it would be "fun to ruin Regina George's life" as she said, so the Regina isn't supposed to be the main/only antagonist. It's showing that all the girls are mean in their own way. Even though Regina is super fake and talks shit, Janis was just as bad talking shit about her and then messing with her skin, weight, relationships, etc.
