There's something charming about these older CGI movies. A lot of them presented high-effort with questionable tools. These days the tools are pretty impeccable, but the effort is questionable.

I got mixed feelings about this, it's not one of the best Halloween animated movies I've ever seen since I would go for The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Coraline, ParaNorman, Hotel Transylvania or even Frankenweinie over this, than again it can beat better comparing to Igor yet even I have mixed feelings with that one as well. Same with Monster House since the character designs looked a little uncanny, the protagonists were bland, and the climax seemed rushed than again not that bad.
