We finally turned the OPM Trebizond into a massive Byzantine empire and with the modifiers we collected across Trapezuntine, Georgian and EU4 Byzantium missions, we were able to take entire Iberia in 1 war.. Was it all worth it? Watch the video and decide for yourself!

The Setup is really worth it imo, no need to go on a conquering spree before absolutism. Its the most rewarding way to play and watch imo. court and country for extra tryhard mode would have been sick ;) And now imagine and fast this run could have accelerated with good RNG at the start!

Yep, Trebizond to Georgia is very versatile because of this, you can do other formables such as Persia or even Russia afterwards not to clash with the pronoiar reform

I feel so bad that Eu4 has no alternative path for Georgia or at least Samtskhe to play as Muslim Georgia, like Emirate of Tbilisi or Sultanate of Gurjistan. especially Samtskhe people, muslim meskhetians are Georgians that adopted islam, part of them are turkified now and it would be great to have special mission trees for Samtskhe to play as muslim and form something great.

Both regions are in the middle of Europe and have insane dev, conquering them is usually a point of non return ae wise so is best to save them for last

Byz ideas are meh except for ccr, they have nice unique governmdnt types, very nice mission tree, and their culture group is trash I can only see forming Byz a worthwile thing to do as Theodoro, you click on the mission that turns gothic into German, let the even on screen, form Byz and immediately become German

You can head west faster to get Savoy culture and after Georgia the do Sardinia-piedmont(+%5 adm) and you can restore byz with Italian culture group.(the restore byz option you get from georgia mission tree isn't culture locked[so you can do even more cursed stuff])
