I havent gotten far into the video yet, but if you plan to continue remember to keep aan eye on the jurchen/manchu tribes. If manchu forms you lose 50 mandate. You can prevent Manchu from forming by taking Jilin and another province

When you get -Goverment reform progress event, simply increace your goverment capacity, so taht you govermen progress go to 0. You cannot go negative in Goverment progress, if you do not aim a specific reform

I find it extremely funny that your Taxation edict did absolutely nothing lmao. Your overall balance basically didn’t change. Upon calculating it, you got 15 more ducats in tax, and lost 10 ducats in state maintenance. I guess +5 benefits is nice but honestly I doubt it’s worth all the clicking it took to apply the edict lmao

Honestly Yuan China(not Yuan into Mongol empire, so would not stay as horde) appeal me more but that's a me thing and definitely would be more fun to play on my own rather than watching it haha. All i could say you handle Ming well, more stable than what you usually play despite Ming disadvantage haha

You look like a pro at playing ming.I have a question about Ming. While playing Ming, I can print banner infantry for a certain period of time, but later on, when I want to recruit soldiers, I cannot built banner infantry. Do you know why?

there is a mission that allows banner recruitment for 25 years, so after that time passed you can no longer recruit new ones

I am still struggling to defeat Oirat and Mongols due to the very long border makes it impossible to guard each tile

Try to corner them with large stacks and especially pay attention to the terrain since hordes get 25% shock damage bonuses on flat lands such as steppes and grasslands, so if possible fight where you can get an advantage

Sometimes you can siege 1 or 2 of their forts and have the rest of your army standing near to protect it and just outsiege them. But sometimes you'll notice them splitting their army and being vulnerable, so you can try and leave a small stack sieging and the rest of the units chasing them to wipe them. Also make sure you have the fort defense edict on the states they're sieging if you're trying to outsiege them

Unfortunately you can't get varanasi as Ming. It specifically states you need to be either syncratic or hindu to get it. Monuments that can obtained with harmonizing will specify if they can be used with "Harmonized religion". I only know this because I did a confucian Mughals run attempting to get benefits from almost all of the monuments with accepted culture and religion.
