Luke was the best by far before he took a couple years off from smash, and a lot of how he’s been playing lately tells me he still is the best if not just a bit out of practice compared to his peak. Still has the best placements historically I think besides Bruho’s recent 17th at LMBM, but that was Bruho playing Kazuya for much of the tournament as well; Luke took a solo K. Rool to 3rd at Comicpalooza last year against an absolutely stacked list of competitors
