Hey Uncle Ben, one of the most busy Purina feed factories is in fact here in good old Pennsylvania, in Mechanicsburg/Carlisle. When they make the food the entire town smells like cat food for days. Also, I've been told that they do in fact have very specific recipes that are monitored and tested before leaving the factory. Cheers! Our reptile calcium supplement was the same as our chicken calcium supplement which was the same as our decorative aquarium substrate, all just calcium carbonate.
