Jeabus, Do not bend those bills. They could be worth together between $30k-$500k. Seek out and have these graded. They looked authentic to me from just looking at the video. Look more closely at the Issued Date, they should all be 1918. Not showing any were issued prior to 1918.

The bill is a true collector's item, and those collectors are willing to pay dearly for the few remaining $10,000 bills still in circulation. In some cases, a pristine $10,000 bill can be worth upwards of $140,000 on the open market. Meanwhile, bills in poor condition can still fetch $30,000. Suffice it to say, finding one of these is like finding a rare treasure. Get them checked out

You didn't mention the star on the silver certificate dollars. Even in rough condition it sold for $9000 it was a 1928 bill. I hope this, and my other posts help! You have over $40,000 in bills from that safe! The coins that are encased are probably valuable. Wheat Penny's depending on condition, can fetch some cash as well. The silver pennies were saved for a reason. If a magnate doesn't pick them up, they're zinc, and not silver.

They made the handles seperately so you could cook your meal then set on table and remove the handle so it was not in the way. Circa 60's and 70's. If you have a handle their is probably at least one dish that it fits.

Re: the cufflinks. Don't know about the metal, however, the gems appear to be lab created garnets (January birthstone). Lab created gems have the same properties as natural stones, EXCEPT, there are no cracks, fissures, imperfections in the stone. The lab created ones are literally created in a petrie type dish. They are no where near as valuable as a natural stone.

The $5,000 and $10,000 bills had effectively disappeared well before then. I think bills are real

USA did print up to $10,000 notes, but do not print them anymore. From my understanding, currently they are only used for large money transfers between financial institutions, like when auditor wants to physically count the money. And, if that shipment is robbed during transport, the people will not be able to spend the money. A person is able to get a large denomination note, but you have to know people, fill out all sorts of paperwork, jump through hoops, and you can still be denied. And from my understanding, if you ever want to spend the money, when you turn it back in to a bank, you have to be able to show the paperwork, ( although they should be able to find it by the serial number) or how you got the note (your video of you finding it would probably be sufficient). I think it was on Auction Kings where a legitimate $1,000 note sold for $1,500. I would contact a Bank, not a coin shop / dealer, because a Bank should be able to trace the bills by the serial numbers. Keep in mind, if the bills are counterfeit or stolen, you will probably have to turn them over to the authorities. Good Luck.

I was looking into your discovery of the blue seal bills and this is what I found. I hope you find this helpful. The ten thousand dollar bill is the highest denomination note the United States has ever printed for public use in commerce. The $10,000 bill was printed for the 1928 and 1934 series. Salmon P Chase is the central figure on all $10,000 bills. It has long been considered the king of small size currency (which refers to currency printed after 1927). One cannot discuss ten thousand dollar bills without mentioned The Binion Hoard, which consisted of one hundred ten thousand dollar bills displayed at his casino. It is currently thought that just under 60,000 $10,000 bills were printed for circulation for the 1928 and 1934 series combined. Of that 60,000, no more than 336 have survived destruction by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. 1928 $10,000 bills were printed for all but the Philadelphia Federal Reserve district. Only about eight 1928 $10,000 bills are known to exist, and two of those eight are in museums. Despite the small number of 1928 ten thousands known to exist, they don’t carry a huge premium over 1934 ten thousands. This is simply due to the fact the notes are all relatively rare and valuable. 1934 $10,000 bills were printed for every Federal Reserve district with exception of Minneapolis. 1934 ten thousand dollar bills are known to exist on all districts but Cleveland. The large majority of 1934 $10,000 bills known to exist are from the New York district. Most of ten thousand dollar bills come from the Binion Hoard. A typical symptom of a Binion note is poor centering and repaired mounting damage. $10,000 Bill Star Notes: Star notes were not printed for the 1928 or 1934 $10,000 bill series. Instead, replaced notes have a lighter color ink. These notes do not carry a premium as they are already quite value just for being a $10,000 bill. $10,000 Gold Certificates: 1928 $10,000 gold certificates were printed. However, only one is known to exist; it resides in the Smithsonian. It is certainly possible that others are out there. $10,000 Bill Value: Prices start at $30,000 for a note in poor condition and go up quickly from there. We are aggressive buyers of 1928 and 1934 $10,000 bills and would certainly like to hear about yours. You can call us (864-430-4020) or email us (admin@oldcurrencyvalues.com) for an appraisal and/or our best price.
