I say check the oil sending unit as well because when they go bad they leak right down to wear the oil filter is..it's at the back of the engine at the top...

I have a 2010 Camaro RS-SS . I just turned 35,000 miles. I really love the color of your car. Mine is black with silver stripes. I put Cooks long tube headers and Borla exhaust on the car. The headers really woke her up and the car is very fast. Thank you for posting videos of your Camaro, she is definitely a beauty. PS: I bought a 1996 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Convertible. 23,000 original miles still looks and smells like a brand new car and she is 25 years old now. Happy new year.

I thought about adding a catch can but my mechanic said with the limited use of my car (4K/yr) it didn't pay.....good luck finding the solution but you have an engine that's easy for the pro's to work on.....

A catch is not that expensive but a motor is.

Not only check out the oil but the air pump and oxygen sensor-The upkeep of Bruce is most important

I'm thinking that is from your oil cooler line that runs besides the transmission. They are known to leak when the Oring goes bad on them.. I had the same issue a few months back and a few guys I know as well. It's a easy fix nothing expensive.. But I think that may be your issue you should check that as well.

@@HerAutoPerspective they’re universal catch cans with interchangeable fittings to fit any vehicle

You're supposed to check your CATchcan every time you change your oil and the reason why yours is filling up so fast you must have a small one so that's a pretty good thing because it's going is job but you have to be on top of it

Can you remove the drain plug fitting on the oil catch can and use a little bit of Teflon tape and reinstall it I'm not really sure how your catch can looks like

Hi! Got a question about when you did a dyno tune. If I remember right in ypur videos ypu did long tube headers and high flow cats and a Cai? How much more horsepower did ypu get from that setup? I just bought a 2010 ss and want to do the same thing.
@HerAutoPerspective2 жыл бұрын
Hey, I don’t have long tube headers, but I have the high flow cats, and Borla axle backs, a CAI. I think with those mods plus a custom tune I gained about 57 hp from stock
