I bought a 2012 45th anniversary Camaro 2SS in September 2022. Had about 59,000 miles on it-absolutely love this car! It has the Borla Attack exhaust as well-sounds just like this one. I have a Silverado as my daily driver so the SS stays in the garage the majority of the time. Now have almost 70,000 miles on it and have had no issues at all with it. The car has the L99 with the automatic but I'd rather have the 6 Speed manual but it is what it is. I have not driven the car in the rain and don't plan on doing so unless I absolutely have to. It's a shame GM quit making the Camaro but sales had been really bad so I understand why GM made that decision. Previous owner added ZL1 style tires and wheels with cross drilled brake rotors-the car looks fantastic! Was actually wanting a Corvette when I stumbled upon this SS...so far very pleased with it. I do my own oil changes using full synthetic oil as I am very particular with this car. Paid $24,500 for it which is alot I admit but the car is set up just the way I would have done it myself. I don't have any issues seeing out of it unless I'm looking over my shoulder then there are a couple of bad blind spots but it hasn't been that big of a deal. Car does have Active Fuel Management which I'm not crazy about but my Silverado does as well and I haven't had any issues with it and it has almost 150,000 miles on it now. I've heard many of these AFM engines have lifter issues but I'll just say a little prayer and cross my fingers on that one! Anyway, loved your video and yes I LOVE MY CAMARO!

I had clear coat on my 1979 jet black corvette slotted rims. I actually stripped the clear off of them, and then polished them out. And they shined like chrome rims. I got 100s of people telling me how gr8 they looked. Good Luck with whatever you do.

thx for the video, great material. Base on your several replies below, it sounds that it lasts about 3-5 months, I'm guessing how often the person carwash the vehicle and the weather exposure. I'm getting mine this Saturday, thanks again and have a bless 4th of July there ✌

It's great on polished aluminum (like motorcycle engines) but your wheels are clear coated, so in that case use regular car wax. I use Maguires gold class on my wheels. Be careful not to use anything too harsh because it could damage your clear coat. Btw, I like the original wheels and I don't agree with getting the decals:) :) ☺️

Better have a ratcheting socket for top shock nut. It’s not fun. You get like half a turn you can make at a time. Doesn’t tell you how tight to get the nut. The rubber spacers are different. One is flat one has a raised smaller center section so you need to know which goes where. Also trying to lay the washer, the bushing and nut on top of hole and get the shock post thru the frame hole and and all those is lil tricky. Don’t mount bottom till you get all that thru the top and nut started. Then you can put the bottom in and use flat head to lift it lil to feed bolt thru. I’m doing mine right now. I didn’t even remove the tire on mine but I have a spacer lift and 35s. The factory nut was different size than the RC nut so make sure you have all the metric wrenches you need.

2012 Rubicon here. Since your spare is smaller Discount Tire told me to never have it in 4wd with that tire on. It would cause the tires to rotate different speeds and burn up things. I've got 33s on now. Going to go with Nitto Grappler. My spare is a bit smaller and just got to keep the 4wd off if I ever have a flat.

Hope you still have that bad boy , I haven’t owned an American muscle car since I was young. I live north of the border and I am finally going to grab one as my summer car. Just a solid V8 power plant that sounds beautiful when I punch it. I mean Camaro’s & Mustangs are the best bang for your buck especially if you can find one driven by someone who looked after it. I’ve spotted a few 2010 with 50k miles on em for decent prices. I remember when this Camaro first came out I had other obligations but now that I can do it , I definitely am going to enjoy the summer with one of these monsters. It’s 2024 and with the gas prices where their at I’ll definitely be using it just a tad less. I am just trying to figure out whether it’s 2017 Mustang GT / Coyote V8 or a little older Camaro SS as they cost a little more out here. Thanks for the video !
