Just some advise from someone that’s never done this before, but was more of an idea for time, maybe drop a big 3x3 basket down with a line and you can Drop off all your artifacts inside of it and then lift it up at the end or halfway through so you don’t have to bring everything up every time individually

Idea. Instead of harfing on your umbilical, Carry a magnet down in the claw, Stick it to metal that you want, And retrieve with a rope instead.

Could you run another line parallel with the tether attached to the drone that you could pull on so youre not pulling the tether itself? For heavier items or stuck items like that chair.

I wouldn’t recommend that, the claw isn’t strong enough to withstand much more than the tether. You could attach a rope to heavy objects tho

About 300-400 yards northwest of the docks at Coolin. They are probably long gone but it would be funny they actually turned up. She lost them late summer 23 when it was an especially windy day on the lake

concrete blocks are not toxic just sand and rock. Most of this stuff is sight pollution not actual toxic pollution. Like beer cans. They are aluminum, it is an element. You may not like to look at them but they do no harm to the ecosystem like chemicals do. Those are your real culprits and of course plastic.

The tether is actually pretty strong. It is designed to be able to be lowered down from a bridge or something. I imagine the weight of the drone is pretty close to the limit you would want to lift with it tho

Yes:) they use the cinder block and rope to hold boats against the dock while refueling. The rope goes through a hole in the dock and then you attach the end to the boat and the weight of the brick pulls the boat over
