I loved this! My first visit to London was last year, and I was only able to spend a few days before boarding a cruise from Southampton. I'll be returning next spring and am trying to plan my time. I may have up to two weeks in Great Britain before my cruise (I'm considering taking a transatlantic voyage) before my Norwegian Prima cruise to Amsterdam, Brugges, Norway, and Iceland. It's going to be epic! Anyhow, I hit some highlights in London last year but want to see the major things I missed and them some other cool spots - so this is so wonderful... I hope to see more. I'm also looking into package tours that include Scotland and possibly Wales or Ireland. Thank you!!

Road works and construction has destroyed London. Town planners should be regulating and restricting times of works. Twice TFL allowed works to go on in my area from 8.00pm till early morning about 5.00am, the noise was so much had severe migraine and was crying and went to beg the staff. The Mayor of London, Khan has failed London. It is also much more dirty, more homeless people and tents in high end areas, less parking spaces yet Council Tax up and Road Tax up, noise pollution up, buses late or does not show up, trains are worse, delayed and cancelled and almost none existent in the weekend now. They still collect money for bus replacement that is when it is available and too much strikes.....hope he goes next time because as a Londoner born and lived here, considering leaving if this Mayor stays again because fed up.

I agree with everything you said, Marilyn! Khan’s London isn’t a nice place. I love visiting London but I’m always happy to leave. Which area of London are you in? I grew up in Croydon.
