Belated Happy Birthday, Ben! I miss London. I love the architecture and old buildings. I can just stare at old buildings for hours and absorb the historical atmosphere! I am embarrassed to say that I always thought the Tower Bridge was London Bridge 😳… even after having lived there for 4 years! 🤣🤣. I have also been pronouncing Cheshire wrongly. I learn lots of fun stuff from your videos!

Wow! Thank you so much! HAHAHA you are not alone when it comes to mistaking London Bridge and Tower Bridge. Tower Bridge is the most famous so I guess that’s why people mistake it for London Bridge! I think I could make a whole video walking around London and saying the correct pronunciation of words 😂😂

Nice bit of my home city. The docks used to be in old times between Tower bridge and London bridge (that bit of the river is called the pool of london), the wharves on the South bank used to teem with boats, but as the boats got bigger the docks moved downstream. St Paul's was rebuilt after being totally destroyed in the great fire of 1666. Fun fact, the monarch has to ask permission from the Lord mayor of London to access the square mile (not the mayor of greater london). Somerset house ised to be home to the inlamd revenue and until the victoria embankment was built, it had river access too. BTW many happy returns.

I live part time and work in London (work in Canary Wharf which has a lot of history as well as being very high rise and modern) I never get bored of it. Certainly so much to do and see, we will never see it all. I always thought WC and EC were West Central and East Central until around 15 years ago found out it’s Western Central and Eastern Central, obviously there’s also SE, SW, W, E, N, NW, there’s no NE as thats Newcastle Upon Tyne!

Fun video of London. 2 questions: Do you ever count your steps? If Tower Bridge opens, but London does not, do ships end, begin, turnaround between the 2 bridges?🤔

Tipp for Skygarden: They open normally open the reservations on mondays for in 3 weeks. In my opinion it is really worth to set a reminder and reserve a spot. Compared to other huge cities, I'd not say London is very dirty.

Ah and another tip: The Uber Boats are a very cool transport to get to parts outside the city center, for example Greenwich. You can also tap your card to use the boat. DO NOT buy the tickets at the ticket machines at the boat entrance! The tickets will be more expensive then the tap in-tap out!

I loved London and I can’t wait to go back. My only disappointment was getting ripped off by a private driver that the hotel set us up with to get a mini-tour on the way to Heathrow. He took us to Tesco to buy chocolates for our family back home and charged us an extra $300 for that stop when we got to Heathrow. Then he even asked us for a tip. Lesson learned…

Wow, really?! That’s horrible, Sheri. You should 100% not be tipping a taxi driver anyway but the fact he charged you an extra 300 for no reason is unacceptable. I would have not paid and called the police on the spot, and told the hotel.
