The wheels on the 840 are also BMW, but they are off of a newer 7-series. The 840 is actually more rare (in the US) than the 850 and had the V8 instead of the costly V12. At 8:40. Also has pretty nice interior, most of them came with the ugly gray mono tone leather.

E65 7 series wheels and hacked up lambo doors were a bad sign of things to come on that 840 coupe. The big boy version of these is the 850CSi or even the 850i with the 12 cylinder engine.

Depends on ur taste if u want the truth that bmw 8 series is snow stopper if it was fixed up right the Lexus n bmw both run forever if given proper maintenance as required I use to a Lexus 300 love that car drunk driver hit it parked out on street in front crib had 300+k at time ran like a boss

1994 E31 840i. Crappy respray, random wires headed to the relay box, suicide doors killed the glass retraction function(glass drops when opening the door). Seats look to be recovered with unknown material. Sitting on staggered style 95 rims from a 2002 and up 7 series, too big and heavy for that car. That thing is a parts car. Motor is worthless as it's in many other cars and not much folks buy them(the don't fail, the M60 engine is the best v8 bmw ever made). Cats would be empty by now, trans is most likely bad. $500 parts car, possible $1k profit. All I do is old bmw stuff, many have died by my grubby hands. Lol
