Very enjoyable video! I can't wait for the next one. Some quick tips: - Pressing "Backspace" gives you a list of points of interest in a map that you can go to (for finding traders, stairs, other npcs, etc) - Waiting by holding the "skip turn" button (5 on numpad) will kill you at some point cause enemies will attack you. Waiting till healed with the according menu will stop when an enemy arrives during waiting. - You can pick up chests and drop them where you want. Creating a place for loot you want to keep or offload all the fresh water you don't need currently.

as someone who's played far too much of this game, i'd recommend heading to the Stilt before Grit Gate. as long as you travel during the day for the extra visibility and avoid everything you see, the salt flats are actually reasonably safe. before heading to either, though, you might want to check in and around Joppa some more, there's at least one secret left to find if i'm not mistaken. and don't forget to take a closer look at anything that seems interesting! there's a lot to see in Qud.

Just a heads up for anyone new to the game watching this video: his items rusting was due to being attacked by the qudzu vine, not the salty water. Great series so far Lime! Hope to see more Muwar!

Lime, for 100 points at 15 INT, you can get a skill that reduces your chance of getting lost by 15%

The map tends to become more dangerous as you move to the East, but Six Day Stilt is pretty much straight North. Overall I'd say you're likely to find lower level enemies and stuff doing the Six Day Stilt quest first... Also, it may be a great place to prepare for further adventure ;)

Hi Lime, see if you can buy the skill Wayfaring and if possible wilderness lore for the map tiles you want to traverse, it will help with finding interesting locations and will reduce getting lost. My recommendation would be the Stilt. While the way to both can be quite dangerous if you don't know what to expect, however generally speaking the salt dunes are WAY less dangerous (quite empty most of the time), basically a small step up in danger from your starting location. The most dangerous (and numerous) enemies there would be dawngliders (flying flamespitting serpents) and issachari raiders. their riflemen drop a nice rifle that would be a great upgrade to your musket. for the dawngliders you need to have liquid (grab half a skin of salt water in joppa) at hand to put yourself out if they set you on fire (3 dram should work to put out their flames if you pour it over yourself). For the Grid Gate i would suggest not going there until you have good gear (either bought in the stilt or found in ruins/historic sites) and maybe lvl 15+, hard to make a recommendation when to visit there since it heavily depends what your items are, what kind of build and your knowledge of the follow up quest. With the girshling fangs(count as short blade) and your stinger(counts as long blade) you should look into getting Multiweapon Fighting as well as short blades and long blades.

You make a super enjoyable narrative! A few tips if you didn't know: - Press 0 on numpad to auto explore (at least after you've manually cleared, to make sure you didn't miss anything) - Press backspace for list of things you can auto path to - Examine every statue, graffitied wall, engraved/painted item for locations and lore and such - Ctrl+` for the wait menu; can wait till day, etc - Shift+m for move menu; can auto navigate to edges of zone, etc

Just to clarify the rusting is nothing to do with going through salty water, it's due to being hit by the qudzu who will rust things if they get a successful hit on you Don't forget when examining artifacts to remove and identify the power cells inside them too at some point (given that several are rechargeable by various means)

Your first video convinced me to buy the game... I am now a lvl 15 mutant hydra wielding 5 carbide axes with multi weapon expertise, super strength, two hearts and mega regen 😂😂 And I only just completed the red rock quest and journeyed up the salt dunes to that temple thingy 😂
@AileTheAlienКүн бұрын
👍I really like the mutant character option for the lore. (Although the non-mutant option actually seems a bit stronger to me.) I end up having arms growing out of my face, hands growing out of my other hands...and then everything gets infected with fungal diseases because I forgot to buy a mask. 😆

@AileTheAlien Oh, I should look into that lol. Though I think the super regeneration gives me automatic recovery from effects like that... Better safe than sorry tho, haha

Just FYI. Electricity bypass AV. I’d always take the pilgrim quest and rush to Six Day Stilt to jump start my characters. Also, don’t sell/throw away any books you collect on your way, theres a certain NPC that use them.

🙂2:20 BTW, you can get your broken artifact repaired or identified by the tinker-guy in your starting town. The dude who sent you to get wire! They're right-click options when you're trading with him. 👍

Ahh, welcome to old Salum my friend. Soon enough you'll forget those primitive "slugs". Once you've slotted in some radio-powered high-capacity antimatter cells in your nulling phase-harmonic hand rail with electromagnetic shielding, you will never go back. The nephilim won't see it coming! Ha ha! Get it? No? Oh well! Live and drink!
@jakeking9742 күн бұрын
I went for another run after your last vid, actually got the furthest I've been level-wise aside from modding. I lucked into an electrobow with a full cell, so I was hitting 15-20 on level 5-8 enemies and just splattering them in one hit. And then I got attacked by... Actually I have no idea, it killed me in like three hits, but that's DV for you! You feel invincible until something with BIG BONK energy comes and paints you across the floor.

@luisleongaming17762 күн бұрын
Ostranauts was a bit too complex for me lol, but CoQ is perfect. Complex, and rich, but not as much as CDDA to the point where it's hard to get into it lol. Graphics are also simplistic, but not unappealing
@redacteddata2 күн бұрын
@@luisleongaming1776 have to agree the learning curve for Ostranauts is high but once you get the hang of it it's all second nature. There are some core problems though, maybe waiting til it's done is smart. You run out of salvagable ships pretty fast if you aren't takin your time with everything, the tug boats that are supposed to bring em in don't really work. There's also the inability to do much other than haul goods once you get a torch. Which, I still haven't because the process of expanding and building it on your ship is lengthy. It's def worth a play once done though. If not a bit later.

Hey lime! Love the vids especially the zomboid ones. I was wondering if you'd be interested in trying out Ark Ascended as a series. Project zomboid has been my favorite game in recent years but before that was ark. Since you like survival games I thought you'd might like it. If you do get ASCENDED not EVOLVED. Ascended is remastered and 1000% better. Thank you! 😊
