The soldier almost looked like he was initially using a hack meant for projectiles instead of hitscan. Every time his target would move it would try to lead in the direction they were moving but as soon as they stopped moving it would actually lock on.

I think i know/have an idea on why the soldiers aim was so bad: he might have set it to projectile aiming, since he inly hits his shots when they are moving in a straight line towards him/away from him or when they are standing still. You can see this at 4:40 against the ana

Watching that soldier... it almost makes me think that this was a cheat from OW 1 before soldier had recoil instead of spread. Which is why it 'missed' so much because it was calculating for spread and why the recoil kept jumping it around and off target. Might explain why it worked 'better' on Bastion too. Haven't gotten to the Reaper game play yet but yeah, this shit is funny. xD

I think the soldier aimbot was fighting the recoil. It was always slightly above the head. He took that pause to tune it to be more aggressive. Referencing, "The good admin" uses a plugin on cheaters to give them reverse recoil. It's very easy to see how aggressive their aimbot is while he does that. Even watching them stop to tweak their settings.
