I currently own 3 2007 Chrysler Aspens...and we love them. Purchased 2 @ $4,500 each with approximately 132,000 miles on them. The third one is same year with 181,000 miles with a Purchase Price of $2,800. We absolutely love them all. Very reliable, so much room. We also love pulling our travel trailer as well. Happy journey everyone.

There’s a local No/Bad credit car lot that has a 08 aspen with 118k miles and they want 16,000 for it. Of course the price is jacked because of bad/ no credit but I think it’s kinda way overpriced but man I’d love to get one

I did have to have have the plugs replaced that was a whopping 500.$ plus 200.$ labor ( was worth it I love the dumb thing) the blind spot he said was none that was wrong if you drive on you will see that the front windshield has wide on the sides so yes there is a little blindness but move your head to make sure you have a clear beiw

Bought my 2008 new fully loaded and have been very happy with it ,168000 km on it now. It’s a full frame SUV meaning it can tow a lot. 8900 lb capacity but I have hauled big skid steers, horse trailers, and loads of hay .. and the back springs hold up strong. Many compliments and a Caddy guy said he can’t pull what I can. Plus it looks good.

We bought an 08 Aspen 4.7L last year and 1 week before Christmas this year an uninsured driver failed to yield to our green light, and we totaled our beautiful SUV. Absolutely LOVED the 4.7L. Only had 169,000 miles on her. Was extremely impressed at how well it protected us in a serious accident. Now we are looking at an '08 Aspen 5.7L Hemi... but... high mileage around 200,000. I would love to hear from other Aspen Hemi owners how long their Hemi engine lasted. I really, really want another Aspen, but not too familiar with the Hemi.

Finally got one!!! Thank The Almighty Creator for it often and regularly. My 'obsession' with it started when I got a 2004 Durango 4.7 for $700 w/ 130k mi on it. It was so beat up and disgusting. Farm car smelled like goat poop; had a bunch of mini tarantulas in it. But as totalled and abused as it was I could tell it was fast, durable & well built for NYC potholes. I was on a mission to find a better version. Recently got the 07 Aspen 110k mi on it, fully loaded, captains chair, remote start, towing package beautiful paint job darn near mint condition, no rust, with a HEMI(!) .. if you can get your hands on one don't let it go. Perfect family car if you don't want to drive a family car..

If they were to bring the Chrysler Aspen back, I would say it should be like a non-luxury Jeep Wagoneer if they were not going to do that with the Dodge Durango. In fact, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L has a third row, but its base price is about $6,000 more than the Durango's. They could try making the Grand Cherokee L even more of a luxury SUV if they wanted to, but we would have to see what customers think. The Grand Cherokee L would probably be more competitive if it had been closer to the Durango's price, but they would have to find something else to do with the Durango if they did that. Yes, the Durango was smaller when they brought it back after a 1 year hiatus, but customers might have wanted that because they felt the Durango before that was too big. Maybe now that the Grand Cherokee L is here, they can make the next Durango a non-luxury Wagoneer. They could also make a new Aspen that is just a physically longer Durango if they were to do that. Honestly, I am not sure why the Grand Wagoneer is not just a Wagoneer that is a little longer.

I have to hand it to Chrysler: they've always had very cohesive designs inside and out on their car, SUV and minivan line-up. If you're somewhat interested in cars, you can tell right away this belongs to the Chrysler family of vehicles, and it looks pretty darn good in this Limited trim IMHO. Chrysler quality is hit or miss (esp. their plastics), but I think it's hard to fault them design-wise. They really have defined their own style, and I hope they continue to do so.

Bought a 2008 a year ago (2021) for $1000 it has , are you ready.... 250,000 miles on it and believe it or not everything works as if it were new.. Driving it if you didnt know the milage you would never ever guess ir has a quarter million miles on it. Only issue to speak of is rust eating away at the lower door area. Keep in mind this is and always has been an Indiana vehicle. the Aspen was bought by the 2nd owner in 2008 and he owned it until selling it to me. He was on top of the maitenance on this beauty the entire time he owned it. Changing the oil every 3000 miles.

I bought my 2007 new with all the options including NAV and rear seat entertainment. It had only a few minor issues with the fuel system and the alternator went out and had to be replaced. Otherwise just normal maintenance. I have the middle bench seat and have carried 8 people countless times all with seatbelts! The car in the review definitely has driver and passenger controlled hvac and the rear has its own control. The backup camera was only available with the NAV radio with color screen. My car has no door dings nor dents. The gold paint is flawless and chrome still shines. It’s never been in an accident, although there have been close calls along the way. The interior has some wear with 140k miles though. There are wear cracks in the driver seat and a hole in the carpet from the drivers right heal. It’s a great rig, most people don’t know what it is and we get ask a lot how old it is because it still looks new on the street. Going to replace it next year, but no rush as the street value is nowhere near the personal satisfaction value we enjoy. 12 mpg is rough sometimes, but it’s always been 12 on average, we knew that when we bought it, Highway does get 17mpg loaded down or empty as the Aspen accepts the challenge! For fun, I enjoy calling it the Assman: reference from a Seinfeld episode.

I've owned both a 2006 Chrysler 300C and replaced it with my 2007 Aspen. With both fully loaded, the only difference is the 300C has automatic windshield wipers and rear view mirrors would angle down in reverse and car insurance is cheaper on the Aspen than the 300! But drive a 300C and you'll know why. The Aspen is 5,000lb SUV and handles like it. I tell people it's smooth until you hit a speed bump to fast, then it's a trampoline, like all SUVS. Now things to be aware of with the Aspen is back up sensors aren't effective if you keep a tow hitch in it(trust me), get that engine code checked out, and have the suspension and bushings checked out, it's a big vehicle with some miles, that may need to be taken care of. Mom loves the running boards with the oh $hit handles she uses to climb in mine. I love mine and think it's a fantastic vehicle, it's a road trip machine bringing kids and a whole other row for our gear, not to mention the roof for extra storage.

DO NOT LET ANY 5.7 ENGINE (before 2009) OVERHEAT, It WILL drop valve seats into the engine and destroy it! (They fixed in 2009) I just had a $ 6000 SRT 5.7 installed to replace my totaled motor

I picked up a 2008 for $5,000 from a mechanic that dropped a motor with 10,000 on the odometer, one owner, non smoker, the few things it doesn't have are the Hemi, GPS, AWD and no SUBWOOFER. This thing has new tires and is fully loaded. Love it.

Wil Standridge I just spotted a 2009 fully loaded and I have never really noticed these before. This is 🥵 HOT! Looks like I’m in love. I’m the Ford Excursion/Chevy Suburban lady. I could easily see myself floating down the street with a hybrid Hemi while listening to some cool tunes. This is my next dream car. I’d jump on this right now but I just got a Chevy Suburban last month after 8 solid years of drooling 🤤. Can you tell me a little about size comparison? Thank you! Happy driving!🏎

$6000 is definitely NOT A GOOD DEAL! I just bought my 2007 Aspen about five months ago. I bought it for $2500 looks just like this one with less miles 127k .. minus the sunroof (don't have) my interior is much cleaner though (Gray)...anywho once I drove it, I didnt know it was gonna seem that fast. It actually surprise me of how fast it seemed and i owed a 2008 Escalade before this so that tells alot. Anywho i had to buy after that, plus it was a steal at $2500 cheapest i ever seen one (Got Lucky) lol..But i haven't had any problems with this vehicle yet besides replacing the key fob for the keyless entry.(Stopped working) No it wasn't battery. That was actually one of the recalls on these Aspens. Note: This vehicle does has a power tail-gate but only on inside you can press button for tail-gate to open automatically. Not on outside of vehicle unfortunately you have to lift yourself. Overall good truck if you able to find one as cheap as I did. Lol..I may resale for $4000 otherwise I'll just keep.. My specific part is, Wasnt this one of the only reliable Chrysler vehicles the Brand sold?? Somehow the engine is the only production engineered part of the vehicle that is reliable? One i think that is fiat engineered, would be the Chrysler 200. That has the fiat-chrysler engine. But that Aspen would be good as a 2nd car possibly always.

Never again will we ever buy another Chrysler Aspen limited. This is probably the worst vehicle they have made. We paid $2000 less than what you asked for this vehicle. Ours is a 07 and only had 132,000 miles when we got it. It is still under 200,000 miles and the transmission is going out, the computer is flipping out sometimes, the wipers decides when they turn completely off, the rear heater and air makes a horrible noise now. Please stay away from this money pit. Gas mileage is stupid.
