Great job rescuing the bird. Sometimes when a bird is flying away from a predator, they might collide with something and it stuns them. Once it quit panting, that was a good sign. It seemed to be more alert and accepted the water you gave it.I’ve rescued several wild animals over the years. Thank you for saving the bird. ❤️🐦

Birds that are this messed up from a window strike usually die later from their injuries. This bird needed immediate medical attention from a licensed vet or rehabber. This is an example of what not to do.

눈썰미가 좋으시네요. 새를 발견하기가 쉽지 않았을 텐데, 복 받으세요! 저도 어제 병원 가는 길에 배수구에 갇혀 울고 있는 까치 한 마리를 구조했었네요. 울음 소리 듣자마자 제 귀에는 구해달라고 하는 소리로 들려서 두리번 거리다 도로변에 배수구에 갇혀 있는 까치를 보게 되었고, 우산 접어서 내려 놓고 바로 배수구 망을 들어 올리니 까치가 총총거리다 날아가더군요. 자연의 삶이라 해도 사람의 따뜻한 손길이 필요한 때에는 주저하지 말아야 하겠습니다.

I have seen many birds who have hit a window behave exactly like this. They get stunned from the impact on their brain. Once when I was in the Gulf of Mexico a hummingbird hit the sliding glass door. I had the incredible privilege on nursing it back to health with nectar in an eye dropper! Such amazing birds. You are such an animal whisperer!

Best thing for birds in this state are to keep her warm, and put her in a box, in a quiet place, so she can recover without seeing anything, they will recover from their shock and be able to go if they were stunned by a window ar attack. You did so well❤

I clapped and gave out a big wahoo after the warbler flew away. Right now I’m caring for 3 baby wrens. They built a nest in my potted ivy plant on my front stoop/porch. I feed 2 feral cats twice a day so I put hard rakes and chairs to block the plant stand and it seems everyone is understanding. Cats stay off the porch and momma and daddy bird are feeding their babies and have plenty of things to perch on. It feels good to contribute to nature. Choo Choo thank you for sharing your days with us. It brings such peace and calmness ❤️

Oh Choo Choo, you are so kind. I have rescued little birds, but I am not even deserving to watch your videos. You are so loving, kind and patient. I think your friend may come back...with family. I hope so. Tom appearing with a perfect size box with a neatly folded towel. So kind!!! When the birdie looked at you sideways...they are curious and "speak" to other birds that way. (Of course you would know that..silly me) . I bet he flew home and said to family "I SAW PRINCESS CHOO CHOO !!!" Its family gathered around listening to the entire story!! Then its momma scolded him for leaving the nest without a good lookout. I hope birdie comes back!
