I found a fist full of GOLD 😱😲

I found a fist full of gold while metal detecting the Beach. I used the Minelab Equinox 900 and the XP Metal Detectors Deus 2 to find several items of gold and lots of coins.

The stone in the beautiful ring looks like a peridot (a pale apple green to yellowish green stone) but it may be that the camera and video footage has slightly obscured the more yellow golden color of a citrine.

Yes, it is the accept or reject of magnetic black sands. With accept on I can hear deeper targets like my nox but it is not as stable. Where the Deus 2 shines is when you reject the magnetic black sands on areas that have sever black sand that the Nox cannot handle. So for now I will hunt with the Nox and when I come accross an area the Nox cannot handle I will use the Deus 2. Thank You 👍

Have you tried the magnetic reject in the ground balance menu on that black sand? It was designed for black sand.

Yes, with reject on the Deus 2 does not hear the deep iron thud I hear with the Nox and many of those iron thuds are great targets being masked by the black sand. When I accept the magnetic the Deus 2 becomes very unstable, after speaking with XP they recommend that I accept the magnetic and adjust sensitivity down until stable. So far using XP method I can hear the same iron thud but it still is not as deep as the Nox nor is it as stable as the NOx is. However, really thick layers of magnetic black sand the Nox cannot handle and that is where the Deus 2 shines when rejecting the magnetic sand, it only really has about 6 inch capability but that is far better than the Nox. So for now, I am going to use the Nox and when their is thick black sands that the NOx cannot handle I will use the Deus 2.

@@funwithjim you guys just have it hard anyway you slice it! At least you have an option! I found that in a salt environment the .71 update was the most stable! XP won’t admit it but all the people I know using the D2 reverted it to .71. Just a thought!

Not all beaches have black sands but yes if black sands are thick and showing that means the heavier sand and usually has a lot of metal debris. Hopefully that debris is good. Lol!
