Good Morning Mish! George here. I sold my place near the coast in North Carolina and bought a little cabin in the mountains in western North Carolina. guess what....I found a hydrothermal mineral vein in the Gneiss bedrock on my property. I crushed a sample and it has micro fine gold. yep, gold. I am going to explore the vein but for now, my kitchen is a miners mess right now. crushing rocks and panning in a big pan. outside it is winter here and the temps are below freezing. great to see you Mish and I am happy to have something interesting to share with you. My dearest young lady. it is so good to see your pretty smile once again. Yes I missed your videos but can totally understand the need for some back off time. I push myself over the limit a few times. I was allowing people to drag me from one part of life to another and they pulled me away from my family and myself so I had to STOP. Yes I cared about the people I helped and worked with BUT I told them that my family came first and so did myself. It took time but they got over it. It took me 18 months to get my head back on straight. Spent lots of time with my family and a lot of time alone with just me and God. I came back stronger, wiser. and with boundary lines. I refound my true joy in life once again... So take all the time outs you need, we'll be here waiting for your return... Much love and be blessed in Jesus name... BBE..

Beaut to see you again, Mish, out in the bush and sharing, despite the uncomfortable heat- 2 bucket listers, the rarer date 1819 George 3, think Paul rather than Mick of Cointector said has a face like a dropped pie 😅, & intact stoneware bottle, any markings? We'd found one laying on it's side in creek mud, still with cork and full, 1869 Glasgow porter ale beer, I'm hoping to get live yeasts from it, making it older than that shipwreck beer example, just imagine if it works out! Going out again and finding yourself, you happy and comfortable this had never been lost, noting it unnecessary to pressure yourself to produce, and finding yourself happy to do so again, as the mood to do so takes you, that's the best sparkling find that we saw! 😊 (Postscript: not knowing your location exactly, but the villages of Westernport & East of there, areas used by world sealers and whalers as far back as the 1820s, eg "American water well, 1827", & "French Camp, Isle de France", Louis de Swainson, if not 1790s, small bay NE of Wilson's Prom, for research-led family adventures, docile wombats, gorgeous boulders, billionaire's scenery. Mish if that coin has a near square hole, it was probably punched with a (handmade) iron horseshoe nail. This then was often strung on platted horsehair necklaces and given to daughters for coming of age. My great Grandmother in 1868 at age 12 received hers and then passed it on to her daughter.

I had a good look at it when I read this, and the hole is fairly round but that's not to say that it didn't have some wear from whatever it was threaded onto. It certainly seems intentional for such a purpose. Thanks Mark :)

Nice to see you back Mish! I've missed your adventures and very glad you are doing well. Your little walkabout was nice and relaxing - Cool finds too!! I just want you to know that your content over the past few years have inspired me to purchase my own Nokta Legend and a new GoPro12 - It was my Christmas present to myself. Getting out on adventures with it has helped my health and spiritual balance. I've already found many coins, some jewelry and some WWII relics (videos still to be produced). Since I am a commercial photographer/videographer, I decided to rebrand my old KZbin channel with my own adventures. Now, I'm having fun hunting as often as I can and creating/editing videos. Like you, I don't carry my photo/drone gear with me all the time - sometimes, it is just good to get away and enjoy. My adventure videos have similar content as yours, but I'm here in South Florida - so the scenery is much different. I also have a Blu3 Nomad, and am a master diver, so I can't wait to get under with my new GoPro - I'm waiting for more calm seas. I still have a lot to learn, and still have to purchase a better microphone to handle wind. I have many adventures planned. Please have a look at my channel (click on Lexy's face - she has my scuba mask on ;) and at my adventure videos - I've only put a few up so far, but they are coming. I can’t watch them all at once. I had to get rid of some which was hard to do. I stopped watching due to a fall I had about 3 months ago. Awesome to see you back Mish and the G. III Bullhead sixpence is an awesome find! Would have been 35-40 years old by the time someone travelled to the goldfields and was prospecting. Hence the hole. By that stage George IV and William IV had both died and Victoria had been on the throne for about 20 years at least.
